I am 48 years old and have been avoiding tonsillectomy for over ten years because I feared the infamous pain and suffering from the procedure. I was so fortunate to have Dr. Parker perform my tonsillectomy with the thermal fusion tissue welding technique. I'm 4 days out and doing great. The pain was very manageable with Tylenol and Advil-no narcotics!! I could swallow easily from the beginning and have been eating soft stuff without any trouble. Don't get me wrong, my throat hurts and I yearn for a sandwich but it's way better than I thought and I'm back at work 4 days later.
My only complaint is I haven't lost any weight yet!
If you are suffering from chronic sore throats and repeated throat/sinus infections trust Dr.Parker to FIX IT. I give Dr. Andrew Parker and his thermal fusion welding technique my highest recommendation.

Dr. Parker was the only ENT who cared about me as a person and medically. He found the problem, implemented a program and the end result was EXCELLENT! Search no more. The only ENT call to make is to Dr. Parker.

I could not be more pleased with the results from my son's recent tonsil removal with Dr. Parker! He is literally such a different child now!No more sore throats,no more missed school.He is sleeping really well without gasping for air,and for the first time,the kid can actually breathe thru his nose.My ped referred us to Dr Parker because she said he is great with kids, and that is true.He loaned him a kids book from his library so Zack would know what to expect, and it helped alot. The ladies in the office are so sweet too... They really care. The surgery went smoothly, and Zack was eating ice pops right away. When I got worried that it looked weird in the back of his throat, his staff brought me in to see his PA Donna right away and she reassured me that it was normal. I tell all of my friends that Parker ENT is the place to go if your kid needs tonsils out.I started to go there for my sinuses and to have wax cleaned from my ears, Dr P sees adults too, which is awesome!

1) Habitual Lateness: had a total of 6 appts with Dr. Parker inclusive of a surgery procedure. He/They were late for every single appointment ranging from 20 mins all the way up to 1:45 mins. My surgery was scheduled 6 weeks in advance and even that was late by 1:10 minutes. On all 6 occasions, never even an acknowledgement of the wait times or a simple "sorry for the long delay". 2) Poor Customer Service: the PA in the office was very curt in my pre-op appointment and was rude in the post op calls that myself and my wife made to the doctor when we had post op issues/questions. Experienced nose bleeding issues overseas, spent 6.5 hours at an ER in Ireland and Dr. Parker's PA was a virtual roadblock for Dr. Parker who we heard from 18 hours later. Essentially, this outfit has no respect for people's time and no concept of customer service/care. What surgeon doesn't place a single courtesy call to their patient post surgery to see how they're doing?

Dr. Parker is one of the nicest and caring doctors I've ever met. He's very professional and friendly.
