Husband has a vasectomy in 2021 and 2 years later is still dealing with daily pain. How is this guy still allowed to practice?

Post vasectomy pain. Not able to make love to my wife anymore. What's the purpose to have a vasectomy if you're in pain the rest of your life? Don't take the chance to be the 5-10%. 1/10000, yeah right... I'm not even able to sit, run, ride a bike.

I had this done about 6 weeks ago and before I went in I had read many of the below comments and was very concerned as many are negative. The info the clinic provides is essentially accurate and I was fortunate enough to have all the time in the world to recover due to unemployment from the pandemic. I was also fortunate to have a basement bedroom, bathroom, couch and TV on the same floor and I didn't move much for an entire week. I think this helped my recovery as I can't help but feel sorry for all the guys who need to go right back to work after this. I found that any stairs or up and down movements were sore for 2 weeks. I was sore on the right side on stairs still at 2 weeks and still some dull ache after 4 weeks. Small stabbing pains were rare but on occasion they happened and I was still taking it easy. The book the clinic provides says you can exercise after a week but I wouldn't recommend it. I had no sexual activity for 10 days and none of the blood or issues they mention so that was alright. I used all the naproxen during the week and it certainly helped. The jock strap is annoying but I could really see why it was needed, any movement can hurt, and it seemed to be worse after a few days. I recommend wearing it for stairs until you don't feel any pain. Yes the doctor is direct but I understand as he just cares about doing the procedure properly and nothing else. I knew he was like that going in so I didn't have an issue with it. He also wasn't as bad as the other posts say, he was short but direct with explanations of what he was doing. The incision 'pops' are short (4 if I remember correctly) and sure they're uncomfortable but fine. They run like clockwork and you're out in max half an hour. The costs mentioned in other posts didn't really bother me as I didn't want to challenge them and buy my stuff online or elsewhere (expect during COVID you get to use your own razor but you get to pay them for one you don't see as well). When you pick up the jockstrap I would size up if you're able to sit around as much as I sit, I found the waist to be a bit tight. Read up from other places as well, I found Halton Urology in Milton to have good info online. Overall I think I'm OK after the first month or so with some tenderness still but thankfully nothing like some of the other guys went through that posted here. Hopefully this info is helpful to someone as I wish I had seen more positive info going into it as seeing the poor experience review made it more daunting walking in.

Research the real chances of getting post vasectomy syndrome. They will tell you 1 in 10,000 when it is really more like 1 in 100. Ruined my life.

Ever have an encounter with a professional that can’t stand his job and is staring a his retirement counting down the days? That’s the impression you get when you meet this guy. Don’t try and make small talk before you have to drop your drawers either. It’s a sensitive matter, and he treats you and you body parts like they are parts of a car. Borderline humiliating. He tells you he’s going to put an elastic around the end of your unit. Fine, but is it necessary to let the elastic snap around your parts like you just rolled up a poster and thru an elastic around it? What a j**k. Zero bedside manners, no respect for for his patients. Very happy that’s it’s over and there’s no need for a follow up appointment. If you are considering using Dr. Weiss, make sure you read all the information they send you. Read it and memorize it because heaven forbid you ask a question that is covered in the package. If I could rate this doctor with no star, I would.
