I had my hip replaced by Dr Powell March 2020 and it was a great experience.
He and his staff were professional, empathetic and knowledgeable. My recovery was quick and follow up by his office was superb given the Covid restrictions .
I am grateful for this doctor and his staff for getting my life back!

Dr. Powell replaced my hip about 14 years ago. I was in a lot of pain before the surgery, but everyday since the surgery, l have been living pain free and forever grateful to Dr. Powell. I am truly blessed to have had Dr. Powell perform the surgery and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I Had a left hip replacement in June , 2021 with Dr Powell. I have recovered tremendously to full movement of hip forgetting that I have had a hip replacement.
I certainly will have Dr Powell for my next hip replacement.

I have had 3 surgeries with Dr Powell, and each has been a truly great experience. The last surgery was performed in early January, and as of today, I am feeling very good. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr Powell ( and his team).If I needed another operation, I would insist on having Dr Powell as my surgeon-highest rating!

I had a total hip replacement at age 67 and after a short period of time the hip is as good as it was 40 years ago - in our health care system there is a long wait - that is the system not the surgeon that needs tweaking. Thank you for your excellent care Dr. Powell and staff!

Almost 25 years ago, I broke my tibia and fibula in a bad rollerblading accident. I had an open fracture which poses more risk for complications like infection and blood clots. I was fortunate that Dr Powell was the orthopedic surgeon who performed my emergency surgery after arriving by ambulance at the Foothills hospital. It was definitely a long recovery but I am thrilled to report that I have experienced no long term effects from the accident. I have had no stiffness, arthritis, or any discomfort and I even competed as a sprinter afterwards. Dr Powell is a very caring and personable doctor and I couldn’t be more grateful to him that he was able to put my badly broken leg back together and I’ve had no issues with it at all. Thank you Dr Powell!

I had both hips replaced with Dr Powell, one in June and the other in September. I couldn't be happier both surgeries went great and I was up about within hours of the recovery room. I can't thank him enough for giving me a pain free normal life again! Him and his team are fantastic!

Dr. Powell is an incredibly talented surgeon. He is also very friendly, kind, understanding and compassionate. He performed a full anterior hip replacement on my left side and within 48 hours I was walking unaided. His staff are equally wonderful.

After a bad car accident in 2005 which fractured my acetabulum in 3 pieces Dr Powell performed emergency surgery and fixed my hip. 15 years after the accident I can still backcountry ski, hike, bike and run! Amazing doctor!
