Dr. Sora is very intelligent & thoughtful in his manner of patient care. He treats each patient as an individual case the results of which are superior psychiatric care.

I have seen Dr. Sora for 5 years. He is an excellent and highly knowledgeable psychiatrist. He has a great capacity for empathy. He is up to date on the latest research and treatments. Dr. Sora has been a live saver for me as a patient with many complications. He is a superior listener and worked closely with me as an individual person. He is wise, humble and humane. I have not had the excellence of care with any other psychiatrist.

I went all the way to Tucson to see this doctor, he saw my kid 3 times and the child was actually doing pretty good with a small dosage of medication. However Dr. Sora suddenly disappeared I would say since February 2015, his voicemail is full so I cannot leave a message, his office is closed so I cant get my kid medical records, I never received a courtesy call letting me know that he was leaving the practice, moving to another job or office, leaving the city or who knows, he just left and that's all. Very disappointed.

I saw Dr. Sora for two years. During that time, he treated me for depression, anxiety, ADD, and sleep issues. He did not properly evaluate or treat me. I ended up hospitalized four times. My life has been ruined because of his negligent care. He never returns phone calls and obviously does not care about his patients well-being.

I saw Dr. Sora for the first time on April 6, 2013, and I found him to be an extremely nice man with whom I was at ease immediately. As a psychiatric patient, I am more than pleased with my experience with Dr. Sora and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in need of his professional services.

I'll put this simply: Doctor Sora's help saved my life. I saw him from around 2004 - 2011. I was experiencing psychotic depression and a number of other psychiatric issues for which I had been (mis) treated for by numerous other doctors since I was a teenager. Dr. Sora got me on the right medications within a matter of months. I'm still on these medications, and they're still working for me! In addition to being a highly educated and compassionate doctor, he has an abudance of common sense and wisdom. Unlike so many other doctors I've seen, he really listens. He doesn't just wait to talk. I cannot recommend him enough as a doctor and as a truly wonderful person. I hope this helps!

Dr. Sora has it all. He genuinely cares about his patients. He goes to every end and more to help. If you're not responding to traditional treatments he is not afraid to consult colleagues and/or do more research. You, the patient is really in charge of your care; he provides detailed information and together you decide on a course of treatment. If you want no or minimal meds he respects that decision (knowing that he's done his job and has put the options out there and gone into deep explanation so that you could make an educated decision). It is obvious he loves his job and is always, always there for his patients. He is gentle, attentive, always looking out for your best interest. He's not afraid to admit to his experiences and shortcomings; we all have them. Makes him seem more of a normal guy and is living testament that with proper treatment and a desire to be well it can be accomplished. He is very intelligent yet is very humble and genuine. He doesn't hold anything back.

Doctor Sora is unable to see patiants right now until January and we miss him so much!!!! We had to go see another Doctor today and the staff was RUDE and the Doctor Rude, unkind, and seem to want to push medication. When I told him we would be returning to Dr Sora in January, the new Doc gave me a very, very dirty look. Dr Sora always listens to us and my concerns about my daughter. NEVER pushes medication and never seems in hurry. He talks with my daughter not at her. He is the first Doctor my daughter has enjoyed going to see.

Dr. Sora is a highly intelligent, well educated, caring and compassionate doctor who goes out of his way to help. If something is not working he keeps looking at different angles; not every patient is put into a "box"; he individualizes his patients. He's not afraid to do extra research and communicate with other Drs. to learn more about a particular condition/circumstance to search for treatment regimes that we hadn't tried. He's always learning. He respects you and treats you with dignity even if you felt all dignity had been lost. He has a knack for making you feel secure and is always, always there for his patients. He's not afraid to admit to his own short comings which makes him more of a real, normal person who isn't all that different than you are. People have their shortfalls and he doesn't care what those are; he genuinely cares and wants to help. He is a simple, modest man who just wants to help make a difference and contribute what he can to society. Best psych doc around.
