Dr. McSweeny helped me out many years ago when previous orthodontic work from a different orthodontist had left me with teeth that were poorly placed and that were so loose they were about to fall out. Dr. McSweeny saved my teeth for me at a very difficult time in my life. I will always be grateful to him and his staff, who were always kind and professional with me.

Both of my kids have had orthodontic work for the past 4 years, and we have been very pleased with Dr. McSweeny and his staff. Sometimes they run behind and appointments take a while, but nothing terrible. I have seen staff get a little short with people on the phone, but typically that's people who have missed appointments or are being difficult in return - if you treat them with respect, they do the same! Overall, very happy.

My daughter had a very bad experience there. Her permanent retainer came off on one end for unknown reason after only one year, leaving a sharp wire floating around in her mouth. Then we called the office hopefully to put it back soon, but they told us the earliest appointment they could do was two months later (what? Are you going to leave your patient with a sharp wire floating around in their mouth for 2 months?). Then the retainer broke apart after one month. We called again and they said it was our responsibility to pay the full amount to get it replaced by a new one. (what? If they could arrange an appointment earlier before it broke, it wouldn't cost so much.) We plan to look for the other orthodontist to fix it because we don't know how soon it will fall off again if it is fixed by him. Even during the treatment, my daughter's experience was painful. The sticking out wire often poke her tongue and bled. Also one of the staff there is very rude. I don't recommend anyone to go there.

Dr. McSweeney and his staff are excellent. They are very knowledgeable and they take their time to explain the process to you. They do not rush the process just to get the braces off more quickly. Both of my daughters have been to Dr McSweeny for their braces and we could not be more pleased with the results.

He is very knowledgeable and straightforward dentist. If you want an honest opinion go to see him. I am very happy with his care and final product is amazing smile.

He was really knowledgeable and was straight forward about what needed to be done and changing the treatment plan when things werent moving along. A bit of a wait time but nothing unmanage very straight forward staff and theyre honest about results time and discomfort. Its been 5 years and everyone is still please with the results
