Cataract surgery complete. I no longer need glasses. Staff is superb. Dr. Denton and all staff, will answer all your questions. Well worth the money. They offer the BEST solution. NOT the most expensive solution. Know what you want and you'll get it.

I recently underwent cataract surgeries with Dr. Paul Denton, he performed surgeries with exceptional skill and care. Thanks to Dr. Denton's skillful hands and calming demeanor, the surgery was a breeze. Throughout the process, Dr. and his technician Cindy and his team demonstrated a level of care and precision that speaks volumes about their dedication to their profession.
I highly recommend Dr. Donten to anyone considering eye surgery. Great team, great results!

Went in for cataract advice before surgery. Had the surgery on one eye first, then the second eye.
I now have 'floaters' that have rendered my vision constantly blurred ever since. To this day I have had to see retina specialists and eye doctors for clarification of my situation. I am now looking at further surgery on both my eyes. My recommendation to anyone thinking of having cataract surgery, get a second AND third opinion from two other Ophthalmologists before going ahead with your surgery.
My one and only wish is that I wish the people responsible for what has happened to my eyesight could see the world as I now have to see the world through my eyes.

Terrible experience, avoid it at all costs. I felt totally disrespected in this office. Like my time and patience were just taken advantage of. I went in for meeting # 1. I was told to come back next week and your appointment will be 1 hour: 2-3. I came back, I waited 47 minutes. No staff came to me with an explanation, no one seemed to care about my time, or how far behind they were, my schedule, or my other meetings. What I saw was an office that was highly disorganized and one that booked people in on top of each other like an ant hill. The Dr went from room to room to maximize his billing because god forbid he should waste a single minute, in the meantime, a waiting room full of people sit there like sheep waiting. What about my other meetings? What about the rest of my day? I finally went to the counter to ask what is going on and she told me and I quote "All our meetings could be 2 hours" meaning be prepared to wait 60 or 90 minutes before going in. Probably the worst customer service attitude from a DR I have ever seen. I would not go back, and I would recommend anyone who values their time and wishes to be treated with even the slightest amount of respect avoid this place at all costs. I would strongly advocate a customer experience intervention for this poorly-mannered Dr if he can pull himself away from his obviously overcrowded schedule and his only priority, his own max comp. Screw the patient's time, I'm special, you wait for me, your time is worthless. Brutal attitude. And since I left 4 days ago, not a peep from the office with an explanation, apology, or an attempt at a re-book, Screw the customers attitude alive and well in Denton's office.

I had a good experience with the staff. They were friendly and answered my questions about my cataracts. I had both eyes done by Dr. Denton. He is an excellent surgeon and I'm happy he performed the surgeries.
On my first meeting with Dr. Denton I found he didn't have much to say, or he didn't ask me if I had any questions. When I did ask him a question he became short/kinda rude with me because he was looking at the computer screen when I asked. I got the impression that he didn't like being interrupted while he was busy with his notes/computer. He made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't want to ask any questions after that. It seemed he wanted to get the visit over with. His demeanour seemed very difficult to penetrate. He was cold and an seemed like an unhappy man. He showed no pleasantries or smiled. In my opinion when a patient goes to see a doctor for whatever reason it's important to the patient to feel at ease with the doctor. But, this was not what I felt with Dr. Denton.
Now, on the other hand he is an excellent surgeon and did make me feel at ease in the operating room. Maybe, that is where his true personality shines through. I had both eyes done by him and I am extremely happy with the outcome. On my follow-up visit I kept mostly quiet and all was well. As long as I didn't interrupt him while he was reading notes or thinking it was okay.

I have just had my second cataract surgery performed by Doctor Denton. I was very impressed with everyone in the office starting with the clerks at the front desk to all the assistants and finally Dr. Denton. They were all so reassuring and professional, I really felt I was in good hands! Many thanks, Shirley Wells

This office was the absolute worst!! The staff was horrible, Cindy was hard to understand and rushed the whole appointment. Sandy was not kind in the phone or during the appointment, overall did not like my experience. My meeting with the very rude dr. Denton. He did not give any details and could barely write in his computer. Do not trust this overall dirty office and incompetent staff and doctor.

This doctor does not care about his patients. He did my first cataract and now it’s time for my second. His office shut down for three weeks, nobody answers the phones and the fax is disconnected. His old office is locked up and the new place is under construction. I’m left without a prescription for my cataract drops, my vision is poor and my eye burns, I’ve been trying to call the office for three days straight without answer. Finally his locum, Dr. Bentham called me on a Saturday and sorted everything out and put me at ease. Just stay away from this cataract factory, you aren’t treated like a patient just a number.

Firstly I do not have any complaint regarding Dr. Denton never met him. His managing front staff are incompetent. Not friendly, never a smile you were just a number. I was scheduled to have surgery on 7/19/2022. I Tried 07/14 mid day to 7/18 to get in touch with office phone just rang, couldn't leave a message. No time had been given for surgery until my family doctor's office called Ridge Meadows hospital on 7/18 and found out time was 11:30 with Dr. Denton. Get call from Sandy from his office on her Cell phone at 5:30 on Monday 7/18 saying another Dr. is doing surgery and they are moving why phones never answered for 3 days.. Never informed of move on either visit and follow up would be in New West at office they are borrowing. Their new office isn't build as yet. First visit was 06/15/22 and never any mention of a move or new address on any paperwork I received. I had advised the office I would be away but to leave time of surgery on answering machine and I would call to confirm with office. A message was left it said we have a time for your surgery and to call the office for time and time of followup visit I never talked to anyone and phone never answered nor any message to inform patients of this move. Total incompatence of front staff. I informed I didn't not want to have any further contact with this office and i was cancelling surgery. The problem is not with the system but with the incompetence of the office staff they run these offices and book the surgeries, they are his front line. I will now have to wait that is the price. I still don't know where they are moving too or the location of the mystery office in NW. As of today 7/20/2022 their phones are still not being answered or forwarded to another phone. This is the attitude of many working today in our so called broken system. They are not helping, imagine that kind of attitude 20 or 30 years ago you would have been fired. Not any thought put into moving an office for sure or the welfare of Dr. Dentons patients or his practice. And don't even think of charging me $500.00 of a missed surgery. Response was we will have to improve in the future. Wow what a statement!

Excellent doctors. Very well organized and scheduling with very little wait time. Improved vision with two cataract surgeries to 20/20 and I eliminated glasses condition on my driver's license. Highly recommend.
