Very abrupt, told me that as long as I am this overweight I guess my crohn's isn't active. Said no tests were needed.. Said "lose weight before I see you again"... Not helpful, extremely unprofessional. Run away

I felt the need to write this review because the other reviews didn't reflect the experience that I had with Dr. Gopinath. I really thought he was great. I admit that I find the waiting times a little long to get an appointment/follow-up, but when I see Dr. Gopinath, he is professional, thorough and very knowledgeable. I was reticent at first to go to him because of the reviews, but if you are feeling that way -- don't. He's definitely a good doctor.

I have been dealing with Dr Gopinath for more than 5 years and have always found him extremely competent, caring and efficient. No hesitations in dealing with him at all.

completely unconcerned with patient's feelings,he put me on death table and he always sign the papers before operation so u cant do any thing.

He missed cues, refused to test, and all but rushed me out of his office. He treated me like a demographic, not a person. Completely wasted my time with ridiculous tests (I lost a whole day from work getting tested for TB -- unreal), he ordered a chest x-ray then admitted to "not having looked at it, but I'm sure it's fine", and ended things with me by passing me off to another doctor and if he had read my file, he'd have known I'd already been going to her, for 15 yrs. Since then I've gone to another doctor, one who actually makes eye contact, and have been diagnosed with what was suspected in the beginning. All that time wasted and treated like just a case number....

My impression is that he is very quick with your visit and said the opposite of you said or felt. He did not seem to listen and know what your problem is and prescribed an x-ray which I already had.

DR Gopinath is very factual and provides clear details on issues. He has been very helpful with my father. I have appreciated his frankness and he ensures we understand all issues. All my questions have been answered> We continue with Dr Gopinath and I trust his skill and information.
