Dr. Nguyen has been my GP since 2008. She has always been professional, friendly, respectful, punctual, and easy to work with. I never feel rush or dismissed, and she responds quickly to any request I have. She also treats my sister and niece, and she is always excellent.

I now have early onset dementia (I'm 33) due to a drug she incorrectly prescribed and had me on for years! She laughs at your symptoms, doesn't call when you have positive test results and forgets to book specialists appts. She also has prescribed many meds that my pharmacy has flagged as conflicting and dangerous. This woman will kill you - she is AWFUL. She had to google some of my symptoms one time and a BC that I was put on. I have a new doctor who diagnosed me - I was showing signs of dementia for 5 years and she dismissed them and kept trying to tell me I was depressed (I'm a super happy person). See this doctor if you want to get sicker!

I have been with Dr, Nguyen for +10 years, and she suspected and diagnosed health problems I apparently had since I was born that my previous family physician did not even notice. Personally, if I come to her with an issue I am worried about, she is completely for helping me figure out what is wrong or sending me to a specialist that can provide more specialized help than she can.

Critiques I have would be the difficulty in getting an appointment. That is not under her control as K-W is short on doctors so she is taking on more patients than is recommended but it does make it harder for patients to make an appointment.

Overall, I am pleased with my experience with her as my family physician and I'm grateful for all the medical assistance she has provided for myself and my immediate family.

I saw Dr Nguyen for quite a number of years and found her to be very caring and attentive, and more accessible than some other family doctors that I have had in the past. The last part for me was really a plus, and made it less stressful to get seen in the first place.

She told me that mental disorders do not exists. She said everyone gets stressed but you grow up and deal with your problems.

To sum it up shes useless. She has a tendency to laugh at patient symptoms and it makes me super uncomfortable to mention issues with her which is really unfortunate to feel with your own family doctor. And when she does finally decide to "diagnose" she gives several unrelated causes and it leaves you with more questions than answers. Yes booking appointments are quick with her but that is only because she tries to rush through every appointment and see as many patients as possible . I became her patient when I was under 18 but now I will deftley be switching out from her office.

Dr Nguyen has been my family doctor for at least 8 years. I have two children who she always makes time to see - even when I have to call last minute. She has repeatedly called me after hours and on weekend to tell me test results that she knows I am waiting for. She has referred us to 2 specialists for one of my children (one was an ENT for asthma related symptoms) as soon as we requested it. She is not forceful; she requires you to make the decision on next steps, but I appreciate that as it allows me to consider all options available to me. Others will disagree and that is ok too - everyone has different needs. But my preference is to have a doctor who listens, provides options and then asks me what path I want to take for my health or that of my children. I have recommended her in the past to others who like the same approach.

the low rating is a both a warning and an opportunity - Warning :be cautious if you have environmental sensitivities- ask questions, discuss it., discuss the outcomes on asthma, discuss COPD etc Opportunity: Then if you are heard and able to get referrals etc Please Come Back to this site and challenge this review. Make the correction. This site should be a place of also helping the physician, to be constructive, and to advance in their capacities as healers . So I look forward to having this review successfully challenged.
