I see Dr Lara and I absolutely love him. He is logical and professional and takes plenty of time to answer any questions I have. He always explains why he makes the decisions he does and gives me detailed instructions about what next steps to take. He manages all my care from sinuses to allergies to infections all the way to general ear cleaning. I highly recommend Dr Lara and I wish all of my doctors were as amazing as he is. I have been seeing Dr Lara for about seven years at multiple offices and have never had a negative experience with him. Highly recommended!

I made an appointment with Dr. Lara three times before I saw him. The office staff kept canceling. They were not aware of when he would be in that office. I waited an hour before they finally did an extensive hearing test for Vertigo but only after I check with the staff on whether I was acknowledged yet. Then they had me wait another 15 minutes in the waiting room. Finally they had a room where I waited another half hour before seeing an assistant who was very nice and checked my E,N,T. I asked if they could hurry things along as I'm hypoglycemic and was starting to have symptoms. It was another twenty minutes or more before I saw Dr Lara, who never looked at my E, N,or T. He didn't ask me any questions about my symptoms or try to evaluate my problem. He said the next test they would do was a 45 minute balance test which was extensive and I'm very sure was expensive, with lights, positions etc. and side effects and preparation. I strongly feel they put the cart before the horse in their approach with expensive testing and then consulting. It should be the reverse. They go blindly into testing and then consult! The office had no restroom but a key to access a community restroom outside. I feel they are trying to update their environment and possibly location with money collected from insurance on testing. They clearly overbooked and when I asked the length of time the appointment would take, I was mislead with a fraction of the actual time it took. I'll go in one more time in four months and insist I have one on one with the Dr. but I won't be taking any more tests. Very disappointed. The best information I received was from the Dr. who did the hearing test.

Overbooks his patients, doesn't answer questions, never listens, the only good thing he does is bill you, he Is good at taking your money. What the heck happened to doctors now a days?

Dr. Lara is one of the must respectable doctors I have seen. He listens and truly cares, or at least I feel that he does. I am VERY picky with doctors and their bedside manners - and Dr. Lara has by far the best bedside manners!! He makes my family and I feel very comfortable when we see him. Very funny too!!

I saw him too, when he was at Carlson ENT. I agree that his staff was rude, and arrogant, and you can just tell the staff hated their job! I chose to follow Dr. Lara to his new practice and I am impressed with his new office staff and how his demeanor is. I highly recommend Dr. Lara!

I went to doctor Lara for an ear issue when he was with Carlson. His staff were simply disgusting, arrogant, inappropriate, rude and slow. I saw him 3 times and would never see him again or recommend him to anyone. He sat and just typed a lot when I asked him questions he simply evaded them. This ear problem has gone from swimmers ear to suddenly oh now you have TMJ. I never had pain before the incident at the pool and the answer by him after giving me ear medication was now go see a TMJ specialist. You will pay to get worse if you see him. Don't waste your time.

I saw Dr. Lara a couple of years ago after having recurring sinus infections. After seeing my primary care physician . Dr. Lara was able to help me by doing a balloon sinuplasty. He is an excellent dr. with a good knowledge in his field. Dr. Lara was also very respectful and did not push me into surgery before I was ready. Dr. Lara is the first ENT that I saw that did not treat me like a hypochondriac. I am happy to say that I just saw DR. Lara a little a year after my surgery and everything is going great. I have not had a sinus infection since my sinus surgery in march of 2014.

I recently started going to this doctor. Dr Lara is very professional and knowledgable. He has helped me with my allergies. However, when I arrived for my last appointment I waited for an hour & then a different doctor came in & was in quite a hurry...didn't have my chart & seemed a little confused. I know they were overbooked because I heard some others complaining about the wait. I feel like I paid them and got nothing in return. I have an ongoing problem with one of my ears that causes painful headaches & the doctor said my ear looked inflamed but offered no resolve....and no followup appointment. I don't trust them after this & have no plans to return now because of this.

I am from Ukraine and was worried about seeing a doctor about my sinus problem. I have been seeing Dr. Lara for about two years and have come to trust him very much. He is very thorough, understanding and caring. He gives me the time that I need and he is very patient with me. I completely trust Dr. Lara and his staff is helpful and friendly, and I recommend that you see him.

Dr. Lara helped me with chronic sinusitis by making changes in my treatment protocol and medications and by referring me for aspirin desensitization to an immunologist he named. He listens, asks questions and makes eye contact while he explains. He is efficient, empathetic and an excellent communicator, as well as a highly skilled practitioner. My case is a difficult one and he has made a difference in my quality of life.
