Mrs. Semel is rude, uncooperative and condescending.

His WIFE caused both myself and my husband to leave his practice. WATCH OUT! And I hope he reads this because when we attempted to send him a personal letter, she intercepted it.

If you want to see a doctor who takes the time to listen to you, doesn't rush you out of the office and has up to date knowledge, Dr. Semel is the one for you. This is a man who makes you feel as if he cares about you and, after all, that is very important to most people. You are not just a name. He is careful to weigh options and not rush into a course of treatment. In other words, he listens and give you enough information so that you can actively participate in decision-making. His assistants are well trained. I never have to wait too long in the examining room as is the case with most other doctors. My husband and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a primary care physician in the Boca area.

Dr. Semel and staff are extremely kind and caring. The office has a relaxed and welcoming feeling. I was made to feel like an old friend and not just "another patient." I find it distasteful that patients would comment on the physician's family. It is rude in my opinion. I have never had a problem getting a response from the office. My concerns are promptly addressed. My wife and I would highly recommend this physician.

I have been a new patient with Dr. Semel since October. I find him to be punctual, intelligent, caring, he takes time with me until he can properly evaluate the situation at hand. He is very considerate and kind. I have had only good experiences with his nurses. They are sweet and kind. I am highly recommending Dr. Semel.

I am new to the practice and feel very lucky to have found such a kind, intelligent, and compassionate physician. His staff was friendly and helpful. I am not familiar with the area and his wife stayed on the phone with me, giving me step by step directions until I found the office. The medical assistant is excellent at taking blood and very friendly. Overall, this was an excellent experience. I recommend this practice to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

Dr. Semel is a very kind and caring physician. On several occasions, he has gone above and beyond for my wife and me. He is not just smart, but has a heart of gold.

Dr Semel is a kind smart man but I don't believe he is aware of the rude abrasive attitude of his NEW wife. She is a serious detriment to his office. I can only think he doesn't realize it because he is so caring when u are there. She is very pleased with her new "title" and cracks a whip there, so to speak. According to her he will NOT return any patient 's calls...,she has decided that! It's downright dangerous not to be able to communicate with yr doctor.

Staff the very uncooperative. Get a new RX from Doctor, had it filled and then call the doctor regarding a conflict between tow difference drugs. Get a non-medical staff person who told me that if the doctor wanted me to discontinue one of the drugs, he would have told me to. I then asked her to connect me to the doctor and she send he would return my call. Never returned my call and when I called the next day, I was told that the doctor would not return my call and get me a message regarding the conflicted drug. When I ask to talk to the doctor, I was told that he would not call me back since the instruction now were complete. I was additional concerned since the day before I was to to continue the drug. I have never be treated so badly in a doctor's office. I will not go back to this doctor if he was the last doctor in the world.
