Dr. Aube called me to interview me regarding a parenting assessment of someone I know. She was very biased and tried many times to coerce me to say stuff against the mother that were not true. She should have her license revoked. She even recommended that the sexually abusive step father continue to get access to his step son. Disgusting.

This experience is invasive by nature. I felt that she was able to assess the situation for what it was and her views aligned with the results of the personality assessment. I did find her to be somewhat confrontational, however I assume that is part of the assessment process. There isn’t room for sugar coating in child custody/guardianship matters. Overall I found her report to be thorough and to address the issues at hand. I think people need to understand the nature of her work.

If I could give no stars I would. Stay FAR AWAY!!! She ignored hard evidence, is easily manipulated. She should be stripped from her license immediately! PLEASE go to anyone but her!

Though the recommendations in her report on my child were dismissed by SC of BC, she was very helpful and professional. She immediately identified the issues and realities in our family and made straight forward recommendations. Her only focus was the well being and protection of my child. She also helped me get the help I needed (outside her profession).

In 2008 Dr. Nicole Aube gave me the clarity and strength that I needed to leave & stay out of a 9 year emotionally abusive relationship. I am grateful to this day.
