More interested in peddling his own cosmetic line rather than treating a real medical issue. I thought my bad rash was shingles. Dr Rivers refused to swab it. Instead, Dr Rivers very cleverly tried to to sneak in a big sell on his overpriced skin moisturizer. Never said I was worried about wrinkles or having soft side. Wanted him to look at my rash & determine the cause but he didn't care. Dr Rivers wanted to sell me a tiny bottle of face cream for about $80.

I went in was dismissed, not even offered the most Joe blown basic treatment, no apology and turned away. I don't joke or lie this is actually a true story. Professionally be careful in general who you pick as a physician (it matters).

As you would expect, he is exceptionally talented, experienced and well-regarded in his field, but he is also extremely patient, kind, and consistently patient-focused. He is committed to helping you look and feel your best, while maintaining a natural, fresh, “less is more” aesthetic. I trust him fully and completely. Dr. Rivers is amazing -simply the best in Vancouver. I had gone to another doc for under eye filler (he even has trademarked it) and his incredible Instagram pics lured me in. Long story short, I was left with Tyndall effect (very swollen and bluish tint under one eye especially). It looked awful and I had spent $1,700 for it. Saw Dr. Rivers yesterday, who dissolved part of the filler and it already looks the way it should have looked from the other "Insta famous" doc. Dr. Rivers had actually told me before I saw the other doc that I didn't need filler under my eye. Lesson learned. Will NEVER see anyone else or trust my face to anyone else-Dr. Rivers is friendly, humble, incredibly talented and will never advice you get something you don't need. I've had Botox and filler with him in the past (6 years I've been his patient), and I always look natural and refreshed. Do yourself a favour and go to the best, and don't fall for the lure of other docs out there. Dr. R does not need a flashy IG account, but will always deliver for his patients. Thank you Dr. Rivers for fixing this awful mistake!

Excellent! I've seen 2 other dermatologists who offered me nothing. Dr. Rivers did amazing work; painless, and perfect, scarless results. He and and his staff are personable, knowledgeable, experienced and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I do not agree with most of the comments here. I was not impressed at all with this doctor. The first time I went to see him, he was very charming. He told me that he was the best and promised I’d be more than satisfied. I was not happy with the procedure he did for me and when I tried to speak with him about it he was very rude, defensive, and could not take any criticism. He appeared annoyed that I was not there to pay for another procedure. I will not be going back to this doctor.
