I've had the misfortune of having a very long history of dental work due to an automobile accident 35 years ago. I've been fortunate however to have had some of it performed by Dr. Carman, two root canals to be precise.
He is an expert is all that I can say. The first time was based on a referral, the second one was elective as they could've done the work at the dental office but I opted to use Dr. Carman instead.
If you need a root canal, he is your man. I recommend him 100%.

Felt so welcomed and informed as soon as I walked in for my root canal procedure. After talking to Dr. Carmen and staff, I was more at ease about the procedure and it went extremely well! Absolutely no pain afterwards and was given clear instructions on what next steps to take. Would highly recommend Dr. Carman to anyone that I know!

It goes without saying that I didn't want to ever get a root canal, but I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Carman and his staff. Nothing negative to say. Reassuring, gentle, no unnecessary prodding or roughness in my mouth the usually leads to excessive soreness afterwards. I've had several bad dental experiences before with other dentists and oral surgeons and was very nervous- fears were immediately eased.

I felt immediately at ease once I met Dr. Carman. The operating room was well lit a beautiful view of an idyllic landscape through two large windows. I was in awe with the state of the art equipment employed with impeccable expertise of a conscientious care provider who would patiently check and recheck his work to render his absolute best. Most of the time my case took, was in making sure the area around my broken tooth was completely anesthetized. Work was completed before I knew it. I felt no pain or discomfort during the procedure whatsoever. That is not to say I was not a bit sore last night but with the thorough instructions –a full care package- that I was given upon discharge, and with following the instructions; I slept well last night and today much of the soreness has already diminished. Dr. Carman and his kind and personable assistants form an exceptional team who strive to provide the best possible fully reassessed professional [and] compassionate care to their patients.

What a terrific guy! I doubt he has ever had a patient more terrified than I was, (read as "Neurotic"!)yet he was patient, kind, understanding, and compassionate. When I was finally able to go through with the root canal procedure, he explained everything carefully as he went, and made sure I was comfortable. I also like his staff: the receptionist was very kind, and Pat, his assistant, is an absolute godsend. To my surprise, Dr. Carman called me the day after the procedure, to check on me. In this day of "Doctor-Gods," this was a pleasant and welcome surprise. I hope I never need another root canal, but only because I am a whiny baby, NOT because of anything he did or did not do! If I ever do need olne, I know where I am going for it!

Dr. Carmam did a great job on my rood canal. Many years ago I had 5 root canals due to an injury. Some of them were not done well and some were done very well. I would give Dr. Carman an A+. Very careful and thorough!

Dr. Carman has been gone for the last 2 years back at school for root canal specialist. He was an excellent family dentist. Did good work. Very personable. Always remembered little details about me and the family-hard to do when you see so many patients and only once or twice a year. He has been missed!! I hear he'll be back this summer. I hope I don't need a root canal, but if I do, I know where I'll go.
