this doctor is an absolute piece of garbage . He never listened to what my mom had to say or complain about. He was always in a rush as if he wanted to get out of the place, like come on if you dont like your job dont choose it in the first place. my mom has a problem in her lower back which she knew that it was cancer but he kept saying ,lets not get to the conclusion, and guess what my mother year later went to see her surgeon complain and crying about the pain, the surgeon had gottin an appointment for an MRI since he wouldnt and on easter friday of this year , the doctor had called my mom and told her it was cancer. my mother couyld have beaten this cancer if it wasnt for this rushed piece of garbage. she had asked for a second mri since it wasnt the surgeon job and she told my mom dr tozer if he had switched the medication it would be better for her and that she would have lived longer. so he said he was going to book a spinal mri and from there he would switched the medication and guess what he waited a month for the appointment and then my mom called back to confirm the appointment the nurses said that it wasnt true and said it mustve been a misunderstanding when i was there with mom and he deined that he didnt my mom filp out on the phone and the nurses werent so friendly complain to my mother but when she was in the right to ask for a second opinion and she did had. time goes she got a new oncologist who is way better and who actually listens to my mom and switched the medication and treatment. and what i wrote down here isnt even half of it. HE IS A PEICE OF GARBAGE WHO DOESNT DEVERSE HIS POSITION AND DOESNT CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS LIKE WHY TAKE THE JOB IF YOU DONT CARE FOR OTHERS. SHARE THIS TO GET HIM FIRED FROM HIS JOB SINCE HE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO DO IT. PATIENTS NEEDS TO BE LISTENED TOO AND TREATED WITH RESPECT.

Dr TOzer has been my moms doctor for years. He is incredible, well researched and continues to learn about new treatments. My mom has surpassed what she should because of him.

Dr. Richard Tozer is most knowledgeable and always spends the most needed time to explain the issues and any side effects. So lucky to have him as my oncologist. The staff are always puctual and understanding.

Dr. Tozer is the most wonderful kind dr any one would be very lucky to have. I am so blessed to have him in my life. He makes me feel like everything is fine and let’s me be me. I owe him so much for helping me every step of the way. I give him a five star definitely. He is my rock! I have had to go to other drs and there is no one caring and compassionate like Dr. Tozer.

Dr. Tozer was exactly the type of oncologist I needed. He consistently gave me time to ask questions and he was thorough in his responses. He is very knowledgeable and is also very kind. He would order scans if I had any symptoms that were disconcerting and would call me himself with the results. I was so appreciative that I was referred to him and will forever be grateful for his care.

Dr. Tozer is the most incompetent oncologist. My husband died last month because of his ignorance and inability to monitor the melanoma cancer spread. He has been ordering CT scans of his body only which were showing clear. However, meanwhile the cancer had spread to my husband 's brain. Not once had dr. tozer ordered an MRI on my husband's brain in the last 4 years. Dr, Tozer was assuring us that all was well with the targeted therapy and immunotherapy was not yet needed as the situation was not life threatening. My husband's brain tumor was diagnosed at the hospital ER following a seizure. By that time, the tumors were rather large. I was told by another oncologist that it was common that the melanoma can spread to the brain. So, why didn't dr. tozer monitor my husband's head in the last 4-5 years??? His awkward response was that it was not "Protocol" !! That is not a satisfactory answer, and only reflects his ignorance and incompetence. Moreover, dr. tozer was sending students to follow up on a stage 4 cancer patient by themselves, without accompanying them!! I hold dr. tozer responsible for my husband's early demise, and will file a complaint with the "College". I find it scary that he is actually teaching students. There are a lot of other situations where dr. tozer's incompetence was evident, for example when he was checking my husband's head to check on the melanoma site, whereas the melanoma site was actually on my husband's back! He does not read the patient's file before seeing them. Had dr. tozer followed up properly on the cancer spread and started immunotherapy much earlier , my husband may still be alive today!
