She's Great. She performed a pain free Emergency Appendix removal two months ago. Then with the follow up surgery appointment we agreed to a Follow up colonoscopy to be sure no problems pertaining to the Original Appendix condition and that was all Prompt, Quick and Painless again. She's Very Polite, Courteous, Professional and More Importantly, Extremely Caring. I contacted my Family Doctor to make sure she's my Next Specialists for my Next Colonoscopy.

My father has been a patient of Dr Heller’s for over 3 years now. After an extremely successful surgery that removed his full stomach because of cancer, he has been very well, his scans have been without further concern and he is eating normally. Dr. Heller is an amazing surgeon, but has a curt manner. She operated on me for four hours and removed a mass from my transverse colon and then pieced together and reconstructed the transverse colon. It was very successful. Her skills are top notch but do not expect a warm, fuzzy bedside manner. She is professional and polite but will not offer you comfort. I would highly recommend her as a surgeon.

After being with Jurvanski Cancer Clinic since 2008 with multiple cases of
Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma, a very rare type of cancer. including years of imagining at all different stages, as this type of cancer is only found by imagining. My Oncologist who I respect with the highest of regards had found a ACC tumor and we decided that we would see a general surgeon to have this retracted asap.
Little did I know I'd be referred to Dr Barbara Susan Heller, General Surgeon who clearly disregarded the information which was given to me by my Oncologist. My oncologist had ordered a biopsy, then met with me to inform the result as quickly as he heard. He stated that I DID NOT have any type of breast cancer but did once again show a tumor on upper breast plate. Dr Barbara Susan Heller spent 1 1/2 insulting my intelligence and challenging other professionals that have worked with me over the years. Rude, Insulting, with absolutely NO bedside manor, just likes to hear herself talk. As for me, time is ticking.

After my sarcoma surgery one year ago, and after a year of follow-up consultations, Dr. Heller has found no reocurrence and thinks it is unnecessary to meet again unless I experience a problem. Wow, what a great job she did for me. Competency plus! (Don't expect chit-chat; she's straight to the point.)

Dr Heller got me into surgery 5 days after diagnosis. She explained all of my options and answered all of my questions, she is a caring amazing surgeon . I am alive thanks to her quickness. My scar is so neat and much smaller than I thought. I cannot thank her enough.
