Short comment as I found this funny. When I was seeing Dr Bella and Leonard last week, I was in the waiting room and there were patients from British Columbia and Iqaluit there as well. I joked with them them that I literally live across the street on Centerpointe. We come from all over the map to see these guys as they are the best!

I am pretty sure that I ran through almost what Dr Bella can do to try to help. The pills had stopped working and we needed to do the injection test to better know what to do next. The needles worked and so I did them at home and things not only worked but also started to get better on my own. We then tried the pills at around three months and six months but just couldn’t quite get things to where they needed to be and had many discussions on what else could be done. Dr Bella was very blunt and fact based about other options, however the stars and planets seemed to be aligning as I was getting closer and closer to having things work. We then did the ultrasound guided shockwave treatment. Dr Bella explained that it literally cannot work for most patients because of what caused the erectile dysfunction in the first place and that the chances for me were low but not zero and after I think three discussions and going over the guidelines and research and experience I decided for the ten ultrasound shockwave treatments. They worked. I have been using the pills only now with really good function for over a year. My other health issues are also better and this is likely helping the erections as well. We still see each other once a year and I was saddened to see how Dr Bella’s health had worsened and at the same time it wasn’t a surprise how he is working hard to be ok and also taking care of his patients because that is just the way he is.

DR Bella is a surgeon who is old school in that he treats his patients with respect and considers it a privilege to be able to take care of people and new school in that he is the one writing the guidelines and helping advance Peyronies care. I should know, he injected my you know what many many times and it worked.
