Biography
Dr. Striano brings unique experience and skillsets with diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging credentials, participation in more than 10,000 interventional ultrasound image-guided orthopedic injections, and as principal investigator in five IRB institutional review board-approved clinical studies. Dr. Striano has diagnosed more than 20,000 joints and developed patient-specific treatments for more than 600 joints using the Lipogems method. He trained at THe Mayo Clinics School for Continuous Professional Development in Diagnostic and Interventional Ultrasound Imaging, The Andrews Orthopedic Institue, The Ortho-Biologic Institute, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound USA, and was in the first group of doctors to sit for and pass the credentialing examination in Diagnostic Ultrasound earning him The Pioneers Certificate from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. He heads the research in cell-based non-surgical orthopedics at Optimum Joint, Suffern, New York, and the Regenerative Medicine Institute in Montclair, New Jersey, and San Jose Costa Rica. He brings a unique blend of clinical and research skills for patients who want to delay, avoid, or due to other medical conditions are not candidates for orthopedic surgery. He has published peer-reviewed studies, and presented scientific posters at leading conferences in regenerative medicine, and continues ongoing research in non-sirgical biological orthopedics.
