From a GPs perspective who refers a lot of patients from my practice in the North to Brisbane, I find his staff very understanding with regards appointments. My patients all come back very satisfied with his advice, his reports to me are always detailed and informative, and he is always available for phone discussions.

Dr Simon Fleming is an extremely knowledgable and empathetic practitioner. My husband has been a patient for several years and the staff are always understanding when he needs to travel from Drwin to Brisbane for an appointment, ensuring times are made available to fit in with travel options. But most recently my husband suffered a serious motorcycle accident and were initially hospitalised in Darwin before travelling to Brisbane for review by our GP. He was immediately referred to a specialist at the Wesley and required an emergency splenectomy. During his complete hospitalisation Dr Fleming visited him every day to ensure he was recovering and supported. He looked after every detail and liaised with other doctors and nursing staff in order to have him well cared for. A dedicated, caring and exceptionally up-to-date knowledgable specialist I would have no reservation in recommending.
