Very good Dr. Have been taking my children to her for several years now. Takes the time to know us, our family, our preferences. She takes the time to discuss questions and concerns during appts.

Pros : Very nice and enthusiastic Dr.

Cons : Too hooked on prescribing antibiotics to fix everything.
Made diagnosis based not on science or personal examination but on hearsay.

I'd stay away if you have any concerns about over use of antibiotics or if you want a Dr. make her decisions based on her actual examination.

But if you want a smiley perky Dr. and that's what's important....go for it.

She is just great! She is so easy to talk too and is very helpful. Once when our daughter was sick we had to call her at 11 pm. she was great and even called the next day to check up on her.

Dr. Hill-Birk is an excellent pediatrician. My kids love her. She is friendly and conversational, but at the same time does not beat around the bush. She's very thorough. At times she can be quite clinical, but I find that very helpful. I've had several nervous, tearful visits with my sick kids and we've always been put at east by her understanding and obvious knowledge. The staff is amazing, too. I would recommend her to anyone.
