Rude and impatient. I have never talked to someone in the medical field who has been as condescending. She asked me questions about my ethnicity and my daughters. I am white passing. My daughter is not. And while I understand sometimes some backgrounds are more prone to diseases then others, once I told her my daughters background she never treated her the same. Decided to go elsewhere. I can’t imagine my daughter being treated as if she was worthless.

If you are referred to this “Dr”, do yourself a favour and ask your doctor to refer you someplace else. This paediatrician made me feel like a bad mother, and even stupid. I would ask her questions about my baby’s health and the answers I would get back are just appalling for a “DR”. I only took my baby here twice and ONCE was more than enough. She isn’t there to help parents. I just can’t believe the way she made me feel as a new mother. I will never forget it. My baby deserves better and YOUR baby/child does as well! You will not regret it! Trust me.

I'm just a regular mom who worries about her little one, and I've seen a few doctors at this practice, and they're all awesome. This place is a blessing for moms like me. The doctors and the whole team specially the reception who you normally people have complaints about but here they all genuinely care about your kid's health, and that means the world to me. If you're looking for a place that's got your back as a mom, give this practice a shot.

Not good for first time parents. She doesn’t listen to your concerns and I felt she had already diagnosed our baby’s issues before even listening to what we had to say. Very cold personality and actually suggested we put a blanket in the bassinet with our newborn. We are so glad we changed paediatricians.

I must admit, Dr Kiaira is NOT the best for 1rst time parent. That's really unfortunate: she doesn't listen to your questions, barely answers them, rushes you out (don't really know why because she's always late so it's not like she wants to be on time for the next one...), criticizes a lot "What is up with you all parent about teething"... I think it's best to laugh.
Since I came in Canada (2021), I have myself already changed doctor once and it's not better so until I get a referral from someone I trust, we will stay there as I don't want my child to see another doctor that won't be better... I feel like something is going wrong in the medical field here, anyway...

My son was referred to Dr. Kiara, and I have to say in my eyes she has been nothing but professional and caring. She listened to my concerns, and helped get my son's issue resolved. When I followed up with her, she remembered everything I had told her weeks before, and was asking how I was doing (and my husband who has been going through some serious things). She genuinely cared enough to ask, more so than even my own doctor has. She never once made me feel that I was rushing her, or my concerns were invalid.

Her Receptionist is always been friendly and kind when I have called and when I have visited. Which is refreshing.

Through my husband's illness I have been through the doors of many medical offices, and dealt with many medical professionals, and have seen the worse of the worst. Dr. Kiara and her Receptionist are one of the best, I have encountered.

Been to this doctor 3 times and she has always been extremely rude. Does not like to answer questions and mistreats parents. Very unethical and unprofessional, never going back to her again!
Very inappropriately responds to questions and makes extremely rude comments. As a doctor, you gotta be polite to new moms. When my child got her first vaccine, I hugged my baby to calm her down and this lady said to me that I need to put the baby in car seat and go because other patients are waiting. As a new mom I asked her a few questions based on my baby’s behavioural changes when taking feed and this dr responded saying “I don’t know.. all this is common sense”. She would roll her eyes and not respond to my questions. Who even does that? As a Paediatrician please learn to be polite, kind and empathetic!

Really cold personality. Does not know how to deal with new moms at all. It seems like nothing the parents do is good enough in her eyes for their own child. My baby was slow at gaining weight, she made me anxious every time we had to visit the clinic with an infant in the middle of the pandemic in winter. Almost had post-partum depression just due to her cold personality. Had us go to sick kids, where the doctor over there said that the baby is totally fine and some babies are thinner than others. Gosh, not every baby has to be chubby, but she does not understand this concept. I'm so glad that I've switched to another pediatrician. My baby and my own mental health are much better.
