This guy is an arrogant quack. One consultation was enough for me to know that he can't be trusted. His assistant kept badgering me to book - no thank you!!

I had a breast reduction/lift and tummy tuck two years ago. I am still very happy with my results. Dr. Lacey performed my surgery. I found him and his team to be very professional, kind and honest. One of the best parts is having the private O.R. and recovery area. I did not experience anything alike what is being said in these negative reviews.

After reading the review below I have decided to review Dr Lacey a second time. I am sorry that the patient below had a poor experience as my experience was the exact opposite. I have head two procedures done by Dr Lacey and I am extremely pleased with my results and experience. In fact have recommended Dr Lacey to many of my friends who have the means to travel to plastic surgeons in larger centres and some of them have opted to have procedures with him as well. We have all had superior experiences and very much enjoyed being treated in his private surgical centre by him and his team of professionals. Perhaps he has grown and a professional and a surgeon over the years but I would not hesitate to continue to recommend Dr Lacey to my friends and friends.

I submitted this truthful testimony about my nightmarish experience with this "doctor" years ago, and am re-submitting it after hearing a top plastic surgeon in the U.S. state , just last week unequivically on television no doubt that any plastic surgeon who after doing his procedure affects results in the patient looking older is unethical and WRONG .They also said it is totally unacceptable. That is what the experience was with this "doctor" for me, There were in fact numerous things that should have made me right away forget even dealing with this person but unfortuately I ignored them. One comment he made (and then later denied as he did about other things he said and did), however remains very vivid in my mind and was the reason I initially decided against having him touch me was "that you may look older" Who in their right mind would joke or say such a thing.? and thought it was "funny" When I brought that up, as I could not believe my ears, and figured he must have erred , he said something about "just joking." I foolishly did end up going to see him as his secretary nurse actually called me after I had initially siad no and then I changed my mind about anu siurgery there, and stupidly. I allowed his man put in a graph in the wrong place then where He promised me he was going to put it. In other words I had only agreed to the surgery understanding that this graph was to be placed where he initially said he was going to put it and NOT for him to change his mind at the last minute and put it somewhere else and , he even took it from an area where later pubic hair grew from it in my facial region which he also said should not happen. He used staples which even a nurse siad he should not have. He joked later after me and my husband witnessed the awful result s about how the "chubby look suited me," thing to say, and I have had nothing but problems tryng to undo what he did and revise it. I and my husband as soon as we could demanded that he remove it as he had changed what I agreed to and he did NOT remove all of it as he claims as one could back then and still can even see that my jawline is compromised, plus this awful extra skin even up to my ears and hairline have been left with extra skin along my jawline and under my chin which has left permanent creases from the excess that is not my intial skin and which not only gives an awful premature aged look to the neck he "promised" to make look better, but pushes the skin up and causes more wrinkling and lines ,plus, I have been left with a jawline that is not the slim real jawlineI had and that was in fact beautifully restored after I suffered terrible injuries to my face years ago. I only wish I had listened to his associate who was a lovely lady, who even questioned me as to why I did not think my appearnace was fine the way it was. even after had some zplasites from the initial serious injury done to my neckI as I initially went to see this doctor to inquire about a graft to be placed in my neck region so I may be able to have a younger neck and avoid any more zplasties , that I had had done resulting from serious injuies to my neck and and how he reacted plus the insults and derogatory comments should have been red flagsand the fact that he did not even come to see me after this mess spoke also how callous some people can can be after they have ruined your appearnace or brought sadness and sorrow AND taken your money promising something else. Thank God I have at least met some kinder surgeons elsewhere who have tried their best to make revisions on what he did to my neck but the damage was great and the premature aging that I never had my whole life before seeing him EVEN after my initial tragic injury which required a few surgeries but to which those good doctors brought very good results considering the injury and I had a lovely jawline that was like the one I was born with and also a great smile to go with the confidence I had even after accepting the other scars on my body from the injury I knew I would have. He brought nothing but misery to me. In fact the very day of my surgery he actually had expected my husband to go and get something that he, the "doctor" was supposed to have had ithe room. I wanted to get off the operating table while we wee waiting for my husband to bring it as he was delayed, ( he should not have had to do what this doctor was responsilble for in the first place regardless ,and it was like God was trying to say GET OUT while you can and beofre he touches you as I had prayed that if it was not meant to be then God please show me, God did try to show me and instead I was a people pleaser to this "doctor"'cause I did not want to hurt this "doctor's feelings HOW absurd I now see and I regret. STAY AWAY, or see a doctor as was said that is qualified and reasonable.

Having a tummy tuck was one of the biggest decisions I have made. I wanted to "deal" with the loose skin on my stomach that my children left behind but I was nervous to undertake such a large procedure. Meeting Dr Lacey and his team at Kanata Plastic Surgery helped me decide that I wanted to go ahead with the surgery. All the way through the process I felt listened to and reassured that I was fully informed and prepared. I did end of up with a complication but again I felt like I understood what was happening and I knew that I was in the best hands to deal with it and heal. I absolutely love my results and looking back I know that I made the right decision.

I rarely write reviews about anything but I happened to read up on dr Lacy’s reviews.
Anyone looking to seek out cosmetic surgery I can tell you from first hand , 2014 I tummy tuck with Dr.Lacy. 2018 went from saline implants to silicone implants. 2019 I had liposuction
In the almost 5 years I’ve been seeing DR.Lacy for my cosmetic procedures I can tell you from first hand account. I wouldn’t go anywhere else !
DR.Lacy has never pushed any procedure on me
He’s actually suggested I didn’t get lipo on areas I thought I should (which he was right) bedside manners were outstanding Everyone need to understand , he’s not their to be your best friend he’s a professional and doing his job
There’s always a chance procedures don’t always go according to plan because everyone’s body is different my scar from a tummy tuck is better then all others I’ve seen. He’s precise and takes his time. My lipo was done with such accuracy and technique. My breast augmentation was better then I expected. Nurse sherry is one of the best nurses I’ve seen for this type of surgery
Honest opinion , his work has been worth it everytime for me . Not to emotion the facility ..... felt better than a hospital

Just because I was a past client I wasn’t treated any different vs new one. I strongly recommend his team

The office staff ..... I never remember their names ,
There is needing to be a few more smiles on their faces and more inviting attitudes. What they lack Dr Lacy makes up for. So if you can make it past the offices staffs Mundane behaviours you will have a great Dr by your side

This surgeon needs to update himself with the tip surgeons in Los Angeles and NYC and Miami like Dr.Hochstein l, Dr. Jason Emer , Dr.Diamond . Ottawa surgeons are very behind with PS . They don’t learn new techniques and equipment is very old. Never get PS in this city it’s the worse ever all surgeons here are terrible .
Worth seeing the best in the USA .

I went to see Dr. Lacey about 2 weeks ago to talk about minor lip injections. I mentioned that I was unhappy with the lower part of my face. I'm not a smoker, I don't lie in the sun. He asked to hold a mirror where he procededed to pull back my skin which clearly showed that I had some loose skin. He told me that my elasticity in my skin looked older than my actual age. His advise was that I have a mini facelift at almost 20k. After which he changed his recommendation to a full facelift. WHAT? I'm not even 48 yet. I left feeling bad about myself. No doctor should make a patient feel bad about themselves.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lacey: he is professional, empathetic, tender, understanding and has great compassion. I had breast implants removed (they had ruptured after 27 years) and a breast lift. He did lovely work, and I feel the price was fair. I didn't know Dr. Lacey previously, and I was nervous going into this; but he has developed trust with me, and I would recommend him to anyone needing cosmetic surgery. Also his nurse assistant Sherry was lovely - again very professional and very good at her job. Thank you to Dr. Lacey and his staff!

DO NOT GO SEE DR LACEY. I had a trigger finger surgery a year ago and it is now worse than ever. I went back to see him recently to talk about my continued issues with my hand, and he didn’t even read my file before I came in, and had no idea he had injected me with cortisone multiple times before the surgery- which he told me he shouldn't have actually done. He then scolded me for waiting so long to get my surgery, when he was in fact the one that put me on a 2 year waiting list, even though I called every couple of months to say how much pain I was in. I drove an hour for this appt. in rush hour, and he told me I was taking too much of his time- he was 25 min late and this was only 10 min into the apt!!), and even answered a personal phone call while I was in his office. Completely disgusted and disappointed. Going to find a new specialist and will be escalating this complaint further.
