This is a "real" review. My husband and I have both had cervical fusion by him and his work is outstanding! I have been seen by a doctor at Barrows and Dr. Vishteh was much more knowledgable, wiser and slower to suggest surgery. When my son had to have 2 back surgeries, we had not "discovered" Dr. Vishteh yet, and went with one of the top spine doctors at Barrows. There would not have been a second surgery with Dr. Vishteh! I have been told several times that he is the surgeon that other doctors and nurses use when needing spinal surgery and I can affirm this statement! He has great bedside manner, explains your situation well and always has surgery as a last option. His assistant Dana is phenomenal as well! She is very easy to talk with, very patient and understanding. They treat you as family. One important aspect, he only sees patients on Wednesdays. This may seem restrictive, but it is good, because it limits the number of surgeries he performs per week, unlike the Barrows doctors. He is alert, energetic, thinking clearly and wisely, and I know that I am safe in his hands. During your appointment, he gives you his full attention. He will be our family's spinal neurosurgeon until he retires, which I pray will be a long time from now. Check out his credentials and you will see that he is extremely qualified. I have spent a lot of time reading reviews and seeing many "top rated" spinal neurosurgeons. Dr. Vishteh is truly the best surgeon I have experienced.

Dr. Vishteh is a great surgeon. After surgery on my neck then my lower back, I am a new man. Dr. Vishteh has a great bedside manor and explains everything thoroughly. His office staff is great and always answer the phone, no machines. The whole experience has been top notch, I would highly reccommend Dr. Vishteh if you are i need of spinal surgery!

After a year of living with constant, severe 24/7 pain, I contacted Dr. Vishteh's office and was able to get in to see him very quickly. My first impression was this is the doctor who I knew was going to get the job done! He reviewed my MRI's , x-rays & medical history and told me straight up he could help dissolve my pain. Dr. Vishteh did not disappoint. He identified the problem, which two other surgeons failed to do, and after a successful surgery, I am 95%pain free. His entire staff mirror the awesome person that he is. I feel blessed to have found this Neurosurgeon. One final comment, Dr. Vishteh has been nominated by his peers as one of the top 20 surgeons across the country in his field. Hard pressed to find a better surgeon!

Dr. Vishteh saved my life. I had been experiencing years of stenosis and sciatica pain and was barely functioning while under the care of another neurosurgeon. That initial surgeon was misdiagnosing me and was trying to sell me on 3 different surgeries to "fix" the problem. Dr. Vishteh came as a word-of-mouth referral from a friend who had suffered a neck break in a car accident and Dr. Vishteh had performed his cervical spine surgery. When selecting a spinal surgeon you want the best of the best. Dr. Vishteh is that doc. I can not say enough good things about his expertise, his genuine concern for my very serious condition, my recovery or my future.

Dr Vishteh is the best!!! Great bedside manner. He performed a c3c4 discetomy with fusion and turned out perfect . Highly recommend. Dana is also great to work with. The process was easy and very professional from beginning to end.

Dr. Vishteh performed a lumbar laminectomy, disectomy at L4 & L5 , T.L.I.F. and fusion. He is an absolutely amazing surgeon. He is also a very nice person. He has a great bed side manner and makes you feel at ease. He will answer all your questions and listen to all of your concerns. I could not have found a better surgeon !!!! His staff is awesome also. I suffered from back pain for 20 years. Now my back feels great. I cannot thank him enough !!!!

Dr. Vishteh performed surgery on my cervical spine. The care I received both at his office and my stay in the hospital is top notch. Hospital staff had hi regards for Dr. Vishteh and his work. Dana his assistant is very helpful and accommodating.

I am so happy I chose Dr Vishteh to help me with my lumbar back issues! He performed an anterior lumbar inter body fixation fusion at L5-S1. From the first visit through my entire recovery period he and his office have been truly fantastic! He is one of the most genuine caring medical professionals I have ever encountered and he really takes his time to thoroughly answer questions and explain the procedure, as well as the post operative recovery process. The surgery went so smoothly and I feel amazing! I am so grateful for his expertise. His office staff is great as well, I love his assistant Dana, she is perfect. All of my office visits were prompt and timely and he was always thorough and never rushed. He really truly cares about his patients and I am so thankful and blessed to have been in his care.
