I would like to share my positibe experiences at Mission Eye Care. I have been a patient for several years now and have always had excellent care with treating eye diseases and chosing contacts and glasses. Dr. Ahmed, Tracey and the other staff have always been very accomoodating in times of urgent care and most helpful when selecting contacts and glasses. I would never thing of going anywhere else. I appreciate their expertise, professionalism, kindness and understanding. What a great team! Thanks everybody, look forward to my visits. S.

Dr. Ahmed is a good doctor, but to me he is more of an entrepreneur. I would go to him if I was intending to buy glasses, but not as a senior who doesn't have money to spend.

Great doctor. I have had a few issues with wait times, but those were due to emergency patients that required Dr. Ahmed's time. Very understandable, but a little annoying. Dr. Ahmed is fantastic though. Very knowledgeable and friendly. A bit of a pricier clinic, but well worth it in my mind.

This comment has nothing to do with Dr. Admed as a Physician. But as for his staff that attented to me or lack of is outrageous. I cannot believe that his assistant outright lied to me. My pamily doctor highly recommended Dr. Admed to me and I was very anxious to meet him because I have the highest respect for my family doctor.

Dr. Ahmed was practicing with my opthamologist and then moved on his own. I really feel he is helpful and understanding. When my old Opthamologist wanted major surgery I went to him for a second opinion and he referred me to another specialist. I am forever greatful for his help and knowledge.

Biography

Dr. Ahmed has over 20 years of experience in eye disease management and primary clinical eye care. Having graduated from the University of Alberta in 1993 with a Gold Medal for highest mark in the faculty of Science, Dr. Ahmed went on to the University of Waterloo to obtain a degree in Optometry. He did an Ocular Disease externship at the Barnet-Dulaney Eye Care Center in Phoenix, Arizona, where he developed a passion for the medical side of the profession. Once again graduating top of the faculty, Dr. Ahmed decided to move back to Alberta and put his skills to work in a medical setting. He has been working closely with anterior segment and retinal surgeons since his graduation and has also lectured nationally on eye disease.
