I've been going to Doctor Rustqi office for over 10 years and I only saw him once after I insisted to his PA that I never saw the doctor himself. I met a lot of his PA's. Some I met twice but there are a few that I only met once. The rotating PA must be high. I never much problem so I didn't mind, but on the last visit, my condition got worse. I insisted to see Dr when I made the appointment. When I was called in I met the same PA I met last time. She didn't examine me - just went over the lab result and tell me what I had to do. She couldn't answer my questions. She made me feel like it just happened and there isn't much she can help me with. I wish I had gone to a different office before I did all the lab work. I am paying the full in-network amount but I don't feel like I have the care that I paid for. I feel that the doctor accepts these PAs to see his patients who were supposed to see him and he got credit for being the teaching office. I will look for another doctor.

I visited the office 3 times, and saw a Physician's Assistant all 3 times. I never saw Dr. Rustgi. I believe the PA consulted with him over the phone - he did not appear to even be in the office. The PA was reasonably knowledgable, but clearly did not have answers. In the end, they sent me for 2 fairly expensive tests (HIDA scan and Liver biopsy), and ended up saying "sorry, we don't know what it is" - no referral, no suggestions, nothing. In addition, the desk staff were unhelpful, bordering on rude. I had the first appointment of the day (8:30) and still had to wait at least 20 minutes each time. When I decided to go elsewhere, and called to request my records, they made it very difficult. It took 3 separate calls, and each time I was told something different about how to get my records. When I asked questions, I was talked down to, and made to feel as if it was my fault that they didn't have my records ready yet. Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied.

The front desk staff was very rude. I came to see Dr. Rustgi, but was only able to see his assistant instead. We showed up 10 minutes late due to unexpected horrible holiday traffic on 12/18/2012, the front desk said she need to check if my appointment is still valid or not since I was 10 minutes. I was surprised to hear about that. What shocked me more was that the physician assistant said that she was not able to see me because I was late for 10 minutes! I was in need of help urgently and it took us an hour to get to the office. The nurse technician was trying to help and went to the PA's office a few times for my questions, the PA was plain rude and told me to go back to see my previous doctor! I am trying to find my new liver doctor now. It seems nobody in Dr. Rustgi 's office care about the patients. All they concern is only money. They are not there to help.

I've been to him on my PCF's recommendation - 5 visits to the doctors office and his assistant consulted on every visit in-spite of repeated request to see Dr Rustgi, I was prescribed Over the counter Rx for the first 2 times, for the 3rd attempt I got done a biopsy to find nothing inside, I still have issue and I cannot get to the doctor whom I wanted to see in the first place, who may or may not have helped. The ASIAN Girl at the doctor's office is the most RUDE, OFFENSIVE person I have ever seen & that also counts for the nurse & nurse aid technicians. The Dr Himself may or may not be good at what he does but he does not care for his patients who come to see HIM not his learning assistants. After all of his patients who consult him expects to get their ailing problems sorted not to be a PAYING lab rat. I hope he get's it before it is too late.

Dr. Rustgi came off as straightforward and willing to listen, he seemed knowledgeable. His nurse is terrible. She appears to have little knowledge (two phone interactions with her) and is not helpful. No issues with desk staff.

concerned about money primarily, he would not see me until I paid my $30 balance. Not very friendly to his staff and would not go back.

The Receptionist, a young asian girl was the most insulting, rude staff person I have ever seen in the medical field. She was absolutely intolerable.

I've seen a number of doctors over the years for my Hepatitis C condition but none compares in caring, technical competence or bedside manner to Dr. Rustgi. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

My father who is in his 70s and dosen't speak English visited Dr. Rustgi several times, and received great care. He is sincere, friendly, and very knowledgeable. My father had to take a number of tests and procedures for a complex condition, and every time I think Dr. Rustgi did a great job and we are very satisfied. I would highly recommend this great doctor.
