I love Dr Goodrow!!!! - she is on point, quick and to-the-point. She is easy to speak with - she answers questions very explicitly - she is great. She is very caring and takes time to speak with you and really understand you and your unique situation. I only wish she were my own doctor. I am working with her on a donor egg cycle with the testing here in Canada and the cycle in the USA. She is extremely knowledgeable about donor eggs and has provided me with quick and accurate information. If you are going through a donor egg cycle either here or abroad this is the doctor you want on your side. Do note however that the ISIS clinic is part of the deal - they struggle with follow up and accuracy of reporting. All in all I would say that wading through this is worth it to deal with Dr Goodrow -just stay on top of everything in terms of the ISIS staff and you will be fine

I have very mixed feelings about Dr. Goodrow and ISIS. I would say she is knowledgeable but you do feel like a number at ISIS. Most of the staff are great and helpful, but you still feel lost there at times. I did get pregnant through IVF but unfortunately it was ectopic and this is where I started to lose respect for Dr. Goodrow. She doesn't know how to deliver bad news. I mean when a patient who is pregnant comes to the clinic scared out of her mind because she's pregnant and bleeding waiting to find out what's going on. I don't think the first thing you should say to the patient is "do you have any frozen embryos left?". How about starting off with I'm very sorry but....". Then later when I visited and asked how can we prevent it from happening again, her response was "well, we can remove your tubes". Wow, that's nice. I know there is no good way to deliver bad news, but try an approach with a little sympathy.

Dr.Goodrow was straight-forward and results-oriented. We were fortunate to have great success and it is in part because of the exceptional care of Dr.G. Also, in surgery, she was amazing... compassionate bedside care and total competence as a surgeon.

At isis fertility you are just a number. They did not spend the time to figure out what was really wrong with me. I had a thryoid probelm that was never monitored or corrected. The doctor of the day was a big joke. They look at your file and read it in two seconds and never had a answer or a solution at that moment. You had to book an appointment to see your real doctor. After 2 failed iui's Dr Goodrow was the doctor of the Day (she was my real doctor) and I asked what my next step was and she said I need to book an appointment on a later date to discuss the next steps. She was right there and because she had people waiting she didn't bother going over anything with me. That's when i decieded to hell with Isis. They just want your money.

Dr. Goodrow has been great, she is very knowledgeable and doesn't hesitate to tell me she needs to do some research if she needs to. I have the up most confidence in her, she has already done one of my surgery for endo and it went very well.

Dr. Goodrow has given me hope of having children. After years of not knowing what the problem was, I was referred to her and have never felt more positive. She is approachable and caring, treating me in a completely professional manner yet very compassionately. She has helped me through many tears in her office, giving me as much time as I needed to think, ask questions (even ones I thought were stupid), and figure things out. I have never been pushed to to anything and respect every option and opinion she provides. Dr. Goodrow performed two major surgeries on me in the past 6 months, doing everything she can to help my husband and I achieve our dream of conceiving. She is a wonderful doctor and I am grateful to have her on my side.

Dr.Goodrow is an absolute doll. I just love her. At ISIS, when she is the "Doctor of the day" there is such a different feel on the floor.(they work on a rotating doctor system) She is always super friendly to everyone whether you are her own personal patient or not. She is always willing to listen to your point of view and tell you her thoughts on the matter. Sometimes I do find her a bit evasive when answering questions. After she does all she can to inform me of my options, she always lets me make my own decisions in my treatment (within reason). I have a very clear understanding of what she thinks I should do, but I never feel pushed by her. You will always feel welcome and comfortable with her. She doesn't talk to you like a doctor, she just is herself. You don't feel that distance with her. I will be sad when I have to leave her once I do get pregnant.

I saw Dr. Goodrow at ISIS and found her to be extremely knowledgable about fertility issues. She always had research and data to back up her suggestions to us regarding treatment. Although it took a lot more interventions than she expected for me to finally get pregnant, it was because of her that I am now 18 weeks along. I am very grateful to Dr. Goodrow. (p.s. about half of the nurses/admin staff at ISIS are very kind and sympathetic; the other half really don't give a care at all about the feelings of the patients, saw us only as appointments, not people and were often rude and unhelpful.)

I had been reffered to Dr. Goodrow at ISIS by my family doctor for my Concieving problems and Dr. Goodrow deal with me in a very detailed manner. After several tests she prescribed a uterine hysteroscopy (cuz i was unable to concieve for 2 1/2 yrs after my abortion). The surgery went quite well and the Doctor was superb. Everytime i visited her she's been so much caring. after the surgery she was much hopeful about me geting pregnant very soon, and she was true. After 4 months of continous trying i got pregnant and nowadays in my 5th month. But now as everything goes well, i wanted to continue with Dr. Goodrow, but she refused saying that she is no more deliverying babies and i must have to find any other OB/GYN. nowaydays having hard time finding right doctor for me. I wish i could see Dr. Goodrow for my delivery. I highly recommend this doctor.

I am so surprised to see so much negative feedback on Dr. Goodrow, my experience with her, although limited, was amazing. She was one of the nicest Doctors I have met at ISIS and I would go back to her again anytime.
