My child has been a patient of Dr Griffiths past 7 years. He had a horrible, aggressive ulcerative colitis which required to be hospitalized many times. Dr Griffiths and the whole GI team has been wonderful, approachable and always reachable through the years. They were able to find the right treatment plan for my son who is now living symptom free and thriving. We are very grateful for Dr Griffiths, her team and The Sick Kids Hospital for the excellent care they provide.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Griffiths for the past 10 years. She possesses impressive interpersonal skills when communicating with parents and patients in general. Has a very understated demeanour that facilitates a pleasant environment for anyone involved. With an impressive, traceable history of achievements and experience, as well as an important role in research
conducting patient-based and translational research in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease.
She has been Deputy Chair of the Gene-Environment Microbe (GEM).

This woman is racist and lacks empathy. She's on a power trip to nowhere.

She is a horribly unkind old fashion doctor. All she kept doing was trying to push Humira on my son when we made it clear we were not interested in a drug that has a black box warning which is the most serious warning ever as it results in death. She recommended nothing else but Humira for a mild case of crohn’s. We went there for a follow up with my son having been treated by a naturapath for Crohn’s and he was feeling wonderful with no pain and had a 25 pound weight gain which was 10 pounds more than what they promised me from the horrible drug she kept pushing that I kept declining and she turned to my son and asked how he felt about doing the naturapath route? He replied, he trusts his parent to make that decision and she says “Do you always do what your parents tell you to do?” In a most condescending way as her blond nurse assistant giggled her head off. My son is a minor and yes we as his parents will be making decisions for him. She is so disrespectful and she trains her staff to be disrespectful as well. She thinks people are stupid when in truth we are more open minded. And by far more informed than she wants to believe. This dinosaur of a doctor needs to retire. Her people skills are non existent and her voice is scary and offensive to listen to. What’s worse, her staff is learning her style of behaviour. She will only prescribe Humira and parents, please do your research. Humira is a dangerous drug. It kills the immune system so your child will be sick with every common cold, flu etc..:and will miss out on life. And if she gets you on it, and your child becomes addicted to such a strong drug, they will have no where to turn after and once your child turns 18, it’s approximately $30 thousand a year. And that is the drug she will promote. So much that they will bring in a team to convince you. Multiple times. Over and over. Really. A whole team will come in to convince you. The nurses, Dr Jazz, Krista. You name it. A slew of staff to convince you that Humira is magic.

She treats her team with disrespect and power-trips on her status as a doctor. She thinks most of her patients are “simple”. Her style of communication is passive aggressive at the best of times. She stresses how busy she is but only her time is of value, that of her patients and her nurses are at her disposal. She’s one of the most arrogant, prickly, unpleasant individuals one has the misfortune of meeting.
