Biography
Dr. Igor Wilderman, MD, CCFP DAAPM DCAPM, Medical Director & Pain Physician As the founder of the Wilderman Medical Clinic, Chronic Pain Clinic, and the Canadian Centre for Clinical Trials; Dr. Wilderman has been operating clinics since 2004, offering a wide range of services to patients with a variety of chronic and acute ailments. Dr. Wilderman strongly believes in the benefits of multidisciplinary medicine and using non-pharmaceutical methods of pain management. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Wilderman also lends his experience to clinical trials and medical research; he is the Editor-in-Chief of a patient focused online newspaper "Medical News Bulletin" that highlights the most up to date medical news, clinical trials, basic research, lifestyle, and medical technology worldwide. Additionally, he created educational websites for patients with Diabetes and Gout. The Canadian Centre for Clinical Trials is a site management organization, which was the first patient recruitment centre for clinical trials in Canada. Dr Wilderman is the author of approximately 40 publications and 10 inventions, has trained over a dozen physicians in chronic pain management, and is one of the founding members of the Canadian Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Wilderman has over 20 years of experience using EMR. He served as an IT expert for the Bathurst North Family Health Group. Recently, he participated in the creation of various new applications, including an “Impairment Calculator”, “Aging Calculator”, and “Clinical Trial Advisor Calculator”. A great deal of his time is spent on taking on new challenges, familiarizing himself with the newest technologies, and medical developments.
