Love dr rod!! I had a spinal injury that left me in a lot of permanent pain. He works with me tirelessly to keep me going and active. He’s always able to fit me in if I’m having a particularly bad day and his staff are wonderful. My quality of life is great because of him.
I’d give his clinic 20 stars if I could.

Appalled over these fake reviews...Seems funny that most of them have been posted in the past week or so...100% setup in my eyes...I have always kept up reading reviews of every Doctor I see...I apologize for my verbal diarrhea but I will stand up for what I believe...The undue stress people have put that office in is unbelievable and unacceptable...

My experience with TPC has been GREAT for the past 21 years. I have read these negitive reviews and can say they are 100% faults...I would never go to a different clinic for my needs even if there was a office around the corner from my house. It takes a lot for me to trust doctors so when I find a good one I dont leave.
Dr. Rod is professional at all times.  Hes passionate about his practice and patients. He truly cares for your well-being and tries to meet all needs the best he can. It's faults to say they are out for the ole mighty $$$$. Do you know the thousands of dollars these drs aren't paid because someone couldnt afford the treatments or afford to pay for the dr to fill out your paperwork for a parking pass or other Dr notes but out of the goodness of thier heart people still got treatments and forms filled out for FREE. Example...I have been one of them patients. I needed a needle but couldn't give it to myself. I showed up with my bone needle in hand and asked for help and got it...Do you think the Dr got paid to give me that bone needle??? Answer to that question is NO he didn't, and I could have been charged for that service. The dr also knows my financial issues.
Sometimes a dr can't help you and that means referring you to another doctor in a other fields of medicine. Dr. Rod has sent me to other Dr's. Example, I was sent for a series of tests to figure out why my body hurt so bad that I couldn't move 15 yrs ago. When results were in boom Rheumatologist appointment I had different forms of arthritis major one Rheumatoid Arthritis. 3 years ago, I had horrific pain in my hip and pelvis. My pain injections just didn't help at all. Dr. Rod sent me for a MRI, found out I had a collapsed hip with 5 pelvic fractures.
I was bleeding from my throat, not Dr. Rod's field of medicine but he made sure I got to the right Dr as soon as possible.
He has taken care of me and other long term patients with no complaints.

I have never sat for anymore than 15 mins waiting for my appointment  unless the person before me needed some extra care and that happens in EVERY doctors office that you might have to sit an wait.
Never has Dr. Rod or other Dr's been unprofessional in my presence. AGAIN Dr. Rod has taken care of my needs  for 21 YEARS! If the Toronto Poly Clinic was a terrible office do ya think I would have stayed for all these years!!
My trip to the clinic is a 4 plus hour round trip and well worth getting up at 4:30 am, leaving my home at 5:30 am. $60 in gas, wear and tear on my vehicle. Heck 21 years ago when I first started at the TPC I went twice a week. Trips were cut back over time as I was having better pain relief. But you know what, it's well worth the trip for a 10 min appointment. Also, you might not see a lot of results when you get your first set if injections, it takes a few trips to the office. Reason, your at the TPC for pain management and it takes time to figure out where to give your injections and how much medication you need...Pain management takes time to find out what works for you. Be happy about this because it means they dont believe every person is the same. Also, make sure you ask about follow up appointments. Nobody can predict what your needs are so follow up appointments are up to you. If no follow up booked that's on you not the doctors. COVID rules are in practice. Everyone in that office always had masks on and started wearing protective eyewear. Barriers placed for safety of the employees & patients. Office filled with chairs now 6 or 7, sanitized pens nobody uses a pen touch by others, sanitizer for anyone to use. Set up a spot to do temperature, each person signs in & fills covid questionnaire. In my opinion the TPC is looking out for everyone's safety.
Being told dr can't help you, sometimes after reading medical history a dr realizes they cant help you, it. Maybe you wanted narcotics to control pain & no other treatments. You have to be willing to put time into your own treatments and explore other possibilities.
Rude staff, I was at the TPC today April 1, 2021 yes new staff but far from being rude. Nobody knows why staffing changed nor is it anyone's business. It could be like a child, wanted thier own way but didn't get it.If the new staff got you in with the dr to have your needs filled, it was a good appointment.
I have seen many people in the office come using crutches, canes, walkers and wheelchairs. The staff help these people opening doors so wheelchairs/scooters could get into the office.

I could go on but I will leave this here...
