I just had my breast reduction surgery done yesterday. This woman is truly a genius and a God sent. I was scared by some of the negative reviews I saw on here, but as someone who has experience in a customer service industry, I know how people can easily misjudged someone based on their own personal bias instead of being realistic with their expectations. Dr Musgrave is very professional, experienced and well knowledgeable in what she does. I am so happy with my results and am glad I went with her. I don’t know why anyone would rate her negatively but I guess we all have different views. Sure she is not the kind of doctor to hold your hands and listen to your emotional rambling. She wants to access your situation, get straight to the point, while being as honest and candid as possible. When it comes to my health, that’s all I can ask for. I will take that over anything else. I don’t need a doctor that tells me what I want to hear out of pity or whatever, I need a doctor that is honest, candid and professional, and that is Dr Musgrave!

Was very happy with my top surgery, so please Dr. Musgrave used negative pressure bandage, did not need to deal with drainage tubes.

Dr. Musgrave is a highly trained and extremely competent surgeon.
She did a Z- Plasty surgery on a Melanoma on my leg. It was successful and one can hardly notice it now. She was very professional and empathetic. I would most definitely recommend her.

Read these comments and tried my luck, it's not some crazy with a vendetta, SHE DOES SUCK!!! all her surgeries need revisions and she does a LOT of damage that shouldn't happen, very disappointed, I want to SUE.

Just had a breast reduction done by Dr. Musgrave. Results are fantastic. She truly knows the best technique for optimal results. I never experienced any rudeness issues. I found her quite pleasant and to the point.

I saw Dr. Musgrave today. What a horrible, horrible person. She might know her stuff but DO NOT see her if you are depressed and concerned about possible surgery. I first saw a resident who was very kind. Then Dr. Musgrave comes into the room and immediately my red flags went up because of her demeanor. She was so rude even before I got to say anything about my emergency referral visit to her. She was aggressive and very insensitive. All hope of coming to a even an at-best solution for why I was referred to her quickly dissipated. Having met her for the first time, I really believe others on this site who say that she botched surgeries and then told the patients to get over it. She basically told me to live with my situation...in a very unkind and mean-spirited manner. No empathy or bedside manners. My visit with her was nothing more than 5 minutes - tops. I was trying to understand what she was saying (I have other medical problems and take medication that can sometimes fog up my mind) and she was completely rushing me. She might as well have said "Get out of my office and deal with it." I am seriously contemplating writing to the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons. If anyone reading this is considering a visit to Dr. Melinda Musgrave, please, please, please reconsider because if she treats you in the same way that she treated me today and others who reported on this site, I can assure you you will feel horrible and hopeless. This doctor would make a better mortician. At least the people she would have worked on would already be dead and would not feel the impact of her horrible bedside manners and lack of empathy. Why do people like her become doctors I will never know. She really should be suspended. I am also certain that many, if not all, positive comments about Dr. Musgrave on this site are fictitious. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS.

Doctor Musgrave did a chest wall reconstruction with implants on me and I've never been happier. Shes very direct to the point, extremely knowledgeable and she made me feel very confident with my decision to have her perform my surgery. I couldn't be happier and I owe her the world.

Please go see another surgeon. She has knowledge but is not the person you wan to deal with when you are stressed about your condition. Avoid at all cost. you have been warned. Yes you will wait a long time, its St-Mikes, Dr. Musgrave does not control this. The staff seem to respect her knowledge and fear her. Once you meet her, just ask to see another doctor. Its your right. I felt uncomfortable during the first consultation but I went ahead with the surgery anyway. BIG MISTAKE. St-Mikes have other surgeon who are bale to do what she does. I urge you to select a different doctor. Good luck and I hope you recover well.

Well I am glad I came here first, I went for an initial assessment for a breast reduction, she was very direct but I can live with that but she told me to call when I was serious and ready, have been trying to get a hold of her for 6 months (my window to get it done was July come and gone) and left many messages, never calls me back. After reading these remarks looks like I dodged a huge bullet.
