Cancer patient who was in need of urgent treatment was requested to visit him four times in five weeks without any steps of any treatment or consultations with another doctor. May be he is benefited by keeping the patient with him.

It seems I did not have the same experience as some of those who commented below. Dr. Mounsey's receptionist was very pleasant and efficient. I was called in to see the doctor only a couple of minutes past my scheduled appointment and was somewhat surprised at the punctuality. Dr. Mounsey was courteous, listened to my concerns and then told me what he would be doing in order to examine me. He was very gentle when guiding the scope and, afterward, discussed his findings and recommendations. He entered information into his laptop, which I imagine is instead of having handwritten notes, but I didn't find that to be problematic. In my opinion, Dr. Mounsey is very knowledgeable and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

It is funny. I went to this doctor for a sinus issue. I waited almost an hour or more to be called into the room. Funny, I did not check his reviews as my doctor referred me to him, and knowing my doctor, I trust her as she is wonderful. In any event, after being called into the room, I waited another 20 minutes for him to come in. He never even looked at me and I was wondering why is he looking at his laptop when I am in the room. When he did listen to me, he made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about, proceeded grab these tubes from a drawer and shoved them down my nostrils and told me to breath when I felt they were so uncomfortable. He said something and ordered a CT scan and hustled me out of the room. When I got home I told my daughter about the experience and how abrupt and rude he was. It was my first time meeting him and he did not even say hello or introduce himself. He mentioned something about surgery. I just decided to check his ratings today and wow, every comment made is true, I couldn't believe what I was reading, because I experienced exactly the same thing. Come to think of it, I am not even sure if those tubes were clean.

Don't think I have had a worse experience with any Dr or Dr's office ever! I'm not usually one to complain but this is ridiculous. I honestly want to say that this guy must just in it for the money because he is useless. All prior comments are bang on. Little own if you need to speak to a receptionist. Good luck! How many times should you have to call before you speak to someone??? I call several times a day for days on end and never get to speak to anyone. At least they should accept voice messages but they don't . This would be acceptable only if you were able to speak to someone when you call. There is also no follow-up here.... I'm chasing them and getting no where. Seriously do yourself a favour and be referred to another Dr.

Arrogant, dismissive and uncaring. He walked into the room opened his laptop and stared at it as I described an episode at work in which an accident left my ear impaired. Before making a physical examination he said I was fine because the audio test I took looked normal. I began to tell him that there was a difference between hearing something and hearing something clearly to which he replied it all sounded psychosomatic. I told him my jaw was still swollen! That's when he stood up and began to examine me physically. Stuck a long tube up my nose and gave me a nasal prescription. I waited a month to see this guy? Avoid this incompetent person at all cost!

The worst doctor ever! I have had several throat infections since seeing him and his answer to my problem is sleep apnea. I've seen two other ENTs since then and they both told me my throat infections are a result of my large tonsils which are prone to bacteria. Dr Mounsey is very dismissive and not willing to help his patients out

I have seen this doctor twice now, both times I have waiting almost 1.5 hours past my appointment time. I finally get called into the room where I wait another 20 mins to see the doctor. Worst experience ever by far.

I don't normally believe everything I read on review pages, but I must say this dr. was uncompassionate and dismissive . He was very abrupt and uncaring, especially with that scope he snakes up your nose. He says I need surgery, but I have to think twice about him. He was arrogant and rushed me through the consult without addressing my medical questions or concerns. I still don't understand what he told me.
What I will say is that I did not have to wait more than 10 minutes to see him and the staff was nice., so sad the doctor wasn't also.
