I am really unimpressed with his unprofessionalism and total lack of regard for the care of his patients. He didn't let me fully describe the issues that I was having fully before assuming he knew what the problem was. His approach towards addiction / mental health is also very misguided and he took a mean "tough love" approach and told me to "get off the shit" instead of being in any way supportive / helping me with the issues I was struggling with. He dropped me as a patient because I disagreed with him about the solution and tried to elaborate on my issues, but he didn't want to hear it and told me I was interrupting him and I was entitled. Entitled to what? Free health care that sucks? He also thought my mum had bipolar for years, but then decided he was wrong about that.

Kind man, but never on time or prepared for your appointments. Is honest about his lack of knowledge on how to treat my rare cancer, so at least there is that.

Dr. Attwell is kind, compassionate, truly cares, and listened to everything I said. I had specific concerns about treatment side effects and he made sure to double/triple check at all times that I was well. I felt I was in the best of hands during a difficult and vulnerable time. I am very grateful for his treatment and care.

Dr Attwell has been so helpful and compassionate. I can't imagine a doctor doing more than he has done for me. Oncologists have a difficult job....dealing with terminally ill people under stress. Very nice guy!

Dr. Atwell went above and beyond for my father and my family. He always took the time to listen and the time to explain what we needed to know. His staff were very supportive as well. A great team.

Honestly, what doctor is ever on time. This man saved my life. Was diagnosed on a Friday and was receiving treatment on the Monday. Very knowledgeable, always listened to my concerns and gave relatively good answers. His "terrible jokes" are nothing short of hilarious in the tough days you're going through. I have a feeling he sees these reviews because the older posts are nothing like what he is now. If I ever have to go through this again I will 100% be going forward with anything DR. Attwell suggests.
