Dr Cowen and his Staff deserve a medal for the kindness and consideration they give their patients. I called his office on Wednesday letting them know that a CAT Scan had detected an Ovarian Tumor and how sick I had been for a year. The staff called me back saying that normally Dr Cowen is doing Hospital rounds and patient charts on Friday but he cleared a spot for me THAT Friday. Within weeks I was in surgery getting the tumor removed with reassurance of how much better I would feel once it was removed. Dr Cowen also worked the schedule so that a General Surgeon could attend for another issue that required attention and could be done after the tumor removal. His staff was helpful with Insurance, surgery scheduling, calming my nerves, and after care as I had to see a GYN Oncologist.

Dr Cowen is very patient and will not take hasty decisions.I was almost confident that I might have a C-section but Dr Cowen's patience and experience helped me get thru a normal vaginal delivery.God bless him..

I traveled 6 hours to see this doctor (because of bhrt) I LOVE HIM. I HIGHLY recommend him.

i was diagnosed with endometriosis a couple years back and i really feel that dr cowan really wants to help.. in my opinion he has done everything in his power to help me.. and he is willing to sit and talk to me for a while.. he really makes me feel like he cares.. i couldnt ask for anything more :o)

Dr. Cowen is a wonderful doctor. He and his staff are very caring. He does not rush his patients in and out. He sits down during the exam to see how you are and addresses your concerns.

dr. cowen deliveried our daughter and handled a prior pregnancy that ended in misscariage. For our miscarriage that was diagnosed at his office, both he and his staff where extremely caring for my husband and I at that difficult time. What I liked most about him was he did not rush through the exam process but was willing to give me as much time as necessary to answer questions and provide updates on research/opinions on the topic of pregnancy. Very good doctor who I would definately recommed. He came recommended to me by my general practitions PA who used him for her deliveries.

We have known Dr. Cowen for 11 years, and he has been consistently very honest and caring. He has delivered both of our children, as well as performed two surgeries on me. I trust him without reserve. He keeps updated on all of the latest medical information, and is highly skilled to be able to perform just about any procedure that women need. You might have to wait in the office, but that is due to the nature of the business! Once he is with you, you have his undivided attention, and he remembers you.
