I have been very disappointed. I do not feel like Dr. Rost took me seriously and just brushed me and my symptoms off. Dr. Rost delivered my first baby and he was ok through that although I felt like he didn’t manage my increasing blood pressure right. A couple months after delivery I started having really bad pelvic pain. Instead of bringing me in for an exam or trying to help me figure out what was going on he referred me to a pain management dr. I continued to have really bad pain and felt something was not right so I found a new OBGYN who immediately scheduled tests and an exploratory laporascopy and discovered that I had an abscess on the outside of my uterus that had caused a lot of necrotic tissue. Had I not gone to a new dr who took me seriously I could have become very sick and septic.

Dr Rost is an exceptional Dr. He consistently goes above and beyond in his patient care. He take the time to discuss your needs and never rushes his patients. After a surgery I became very ill upon returning home from the hospital and had to return to the emergency room. Due to the wait and difficulty in being seen in the ER waiting. Dr Rost went to the hospital himself to make sure I was cared for! I would highly recommend him to any peers. In fact most of my friends and co workers already see Dr Rost!

He was great up until showtime! Refused anything but an epidural when other meds were working. Got an epidural, contractions stopped, then refused pitocin to help get contractions going again. He used scare tactics to convince of c-sect and gave no other options other than to sit there and hope things changed. The outcome may have still been the same with a c section but he didn't do everything possible (including pitocin) to avoid a c-section. The reasons he quoted were so rare, 0.5% is not hardly worthy of considering it a risk. Very disappointed.

Dr. Rost was good to me while I was pregnant and with my son, which is why I trusted him now that I have an actual gynecological problem. I have asked for his help in person, through his assistant, and through email. He was distracted, did not listen to me, and convinced that my problem was "hormonal bloating." He suggested and perfomed surgery which did not cure all of my problems and has since cut me off, will not respond. I ended up in the ER where I was actually diagnosed and the ER docs highly recommended I get a second opinion from a different OBGYN. I'm an RN, so I know what questions to ask and I know when something is wrong with my body. Because I trusted him, and he did not listen, I am now drained of funds from his surgical procedure and a month later, getting to the real root cause. I am very disappointed and I pray for him that he is able to care for future patients better than I feel he did for me.

I recommend Dr Rost to Everyone! Dr Rost delievered my baby girl and is laid back and that is one of the many things I appreciate, who needs extra stress from your Dr. over reacting? I also think his nurses Heather and Christina are wonderful. They always get back to me promptly when I have questions, which is often. Great Christian Dr. Wouldn't see anyone else!

I became a patient Dr. Rost's since I was 21. I am now 38. He or his associate have delivered both my children. I love his demeanor, knowledge and attitude. His nurse, Heather is great! I love her! I always feel welcome and well cared for. My care under him has never changed regardless of my insurance carrier. I recommend him to everyone I know. I have several friends that are nurses and they say all the nurses see him or his associates. I would highly recommend him or his associates- Dr. New and Dr. Mendez are also fantastic.
