Absolutely amazing doctor. She has followed me with my diabetes since 2004, she helped through two miscarriages and the birth of my amazing son (which I owe a lot to her). She helped me get the OB/GYN to understand that there was something seriously wrong when I was 36 weeks and sped up the delivery of my son. She was the doctor on call the whole time I was on the maternity ward and provided the best care I have ever had. Very blunt but she gets results.

Dr. Donovan is an extremely knowledgeable, caring, thorough, and dedicated Endocrinologist who has treated me for type 1 diabetes since 1993. She provides patient centered care that enables her patients to become experts in managing their own diabetes day-to-day which results in excellent health outcomes.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Donovan either. She's an excellent Dr, to the point, and made sure I had all the info and instructions on how to take care of myself. I was diagnosed with Addison's Fall 2010 and I feel so blessed that she is my Dr :)

Have seen this doctor for years through the diabetes and pregnancy clinic at the Foothills. Can't say enough good things about her and the amazing staff. I really feel the birth of my healthy and beautiful son (as a type 1 diabetic of 15 years) is in big part due to the excellent care I recieved.

10 months after first seeing her for hyperthyroidism and eventually treatment with radioactive iodine, I am completely cured of my condition (Graves Disease) and have a normal healthy lifestyle again. Thruout the entire time I was treated by her she always contacted me personally within 48 hours after each follow up blood test, and either her or her staff were always available if I had to contact their office to discuss something. Her direct and informative manner is what I want in a physician, I am not looking for someone to hold my hand and tell me everything will be allright, but to plainly explain the cause and effect of the condition and treatments, in a manner that is easily understood and straight forward. Lois delivers on all counts. She is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.

Very impressed with my first visit for treatment for hyperthyroidism. She is logical, factual and clear in her explanations and is happy to field questions without problems, unlike many specialized doctors.

Had my first visit with her today (hyperthyroidism) and I am very impressed. She seems very knowledgeable, has excellent interpersonal skills, along with an ability to give understandable explanations for causes and treatment options. Not adverse to questions either. Going forward from here I am going to have her treat me.

I was referred to her about five yrs ago for a thyroid condition. She was very professional, kind and compassionate;even stopped in to say hi when I was hospitalized.I highly recommend her to anyone needing her specialty.
