I have gone to Dr. Lipnowski since 1978/9 when I thought I had a serious tooth issue. Although my teeth/gums were in bad shape from no brushing daily, he was able to help me get the teeth back in shape. Back in the 70's/80's flossing and the proxibrush were not common so its little wonder us oldies had bad teeth. David throughout the years has been polite caring and will not do work that is not needed. He filled my teeth in the 80's that needed it and they have not been touched since. He is always surprised how long they lasted. His Hygienists are all top notch. I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Sekhon a couple times as David is slowing down to retire. She is also very good, soft spoken and does not seem to want to do work that is not necessary.

I have been seeing Dr.Lipnowski since I was a child. He has been my only dentist and I dreaded the day he would ever retire. Unfortunately he is no longer working as much and I was very nervous to have anyone else do any dentistry on me. I recently saw Dr.Sekhon who is at the same office as Dr.Lipnowski was unavailable. I will never again see another dentist. She was on time, friendly, and knowledgable. I will miss Dr.Lipnowski but consider myself fortunate to have found Dr.Sekhon. No surprise Dr.Lipnowski endorsed her!

The person who wrote the previous review said Dr. Lipnowski is, "the best dentist in the world." Well, I've never met him but his daughter is also a dentist (in Toronto) and I had always thought of her as, "the best dentist in the world." She credits her father with teaching her how to deal with patients - both with dentistry and humanity. I often wonder just what I could have ever done to deserve having met his daughter and having been accepted as her patient.

His daughter is Dr. Lisa Fruitman and before I ever heard of Dr. Lipnowski, I called her, "an angel of dentistry". Within a few minutes of meeting her, I knew that I would never again see any other dentist. Each time I visit Dr. Fruitman, I thank God for helping me find her. At one time she was not accepting new patients. But her web site says that she is now accepting new patients. If you are looking for a new dentist, I suggest you call her office and ask if she will see you.

In a previous review, I said that her excellence in dentistry is exceeded only by her excellence in humanity and I believe her father has a lot to do with both. Should I ever meet him, I will tell him, "Well done Sir!"

I cannot say anything but positive things about this Dr.and his office. They are kind, honest and caring people who take their time making nervous patients like me overcome their fears. When you walk in it feels warm and welcoming. I often forget it is a dental appointment at all.
Thank you Dr.Lipnowski for being so good at what you do and for being an even better person. I consider myself lucky to have you as my dentist.

Just a wonderful human being.......so very kind and caring.His staff are fantastic....it feels like you are family when you go in. There should be an award given out to people like Dr. Lipnowski.
I have never met anybody in my life that would deserve this honor.

I never knew a dental experience could be so positive. Had a phobia most of my life and this Dr, changed everything. Incredibly kind and patient, he understands your worries and somehow can calm you down. Have been seeing him for years with my daughter, who thinks he is equally amazing. If he ever runs late, it’s because he and his staff are taking extra time to help someone, an incredible dentist and human being. So grateful to be his patient.

He has been my dentist for 43 years and on top of being the best dentist in Ottawa is a great human being. I can't imagine anyone else touching my mouth as I'm a big baby. He is gentle, knowledgeable and skilled. Recently he worked on my son and I had Dr. Sekhon and was leary but she is amazing as well.... ALL the staff there are funny and knowledgeable.... Best dentist office in town!!!!!!!

David always takes the time to explain any procedure and is happy to answer questions. He is an amazingly skilled dentist. All the staff are excellent.
