I took my daughter to emerg for gallstones, and he was the surgeon on call.
He took great care of her, minimal scarring and pain. He has excellent bed side manor and listens well, and explains everything

Dr. Amurawaiye is an absolutely amazing surgeon! I am so blessed to have been referred to him for my chronic inflammatory skin condition. Two surgeries with no recurrence! I used to live with pain daily that affected me physically and mentally. Thanks to Dr. A, I have my life back!

My Gall bladder was removed by Dr. Amurawaiye in Oct/18. This surgeon is excellent. He is patient, unhurried, precise, clarifies anything not understood.

His right hand, office administrator, Jean, is such a kind and considerate woman. They are a well oiled machine. I have experienced many professionals who are impatient and intolerant but not this one. She treats you with kindness, and understanding.

I thoroughly recommend this surgeon. Took my fears away.

This man is incredible. As a new mother that was only 33 years old and diagnosed with breast cancer, you can imagine the state l was in. Dr Amurawaiye took the time l needed to explain everything I would be experiencing, and most importantly gave me options for the best treatment. I left his office feeling like l was in good hands and would be ok. Jean, the secretary/ extraordinaire is a Godsend-for making appointments that fit with my schedule, calling to check on me, and setting me up with the best Oncologist at the time.
This will be my go-to doctor in the event that l need surgery in the future, without a doubt!

My husband had Dr. Amyrawaiye's as his surgeon on three occasions in 2016/2017. He is a great surgeon and has a pleasant & helpful personality. Would not hesitate to go back to him again if necessary. His Office Manager Jean is a sweetheart, she does everything in her power to help in any way she can & is always positive & happy. A pleasure to know. You are very fortunate to have someone like Jean managing your office Dr. A :)

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March and referred to Dr. Amurwaiye at The Breast Assessment once the biopsy was done. Both Dr. A and the nurse Laurie were excellent! They explained to me the different options available, the possible outcome of each and helped me make an informed choice (lumpectomy with radiation). Jean, Dr. A's office assistant is a true gem! I have never met anyone with a more caring, positive attitude. The surgery went well and I have recovered well. I cannot thank Dr. Amurwaiye, Jean and Laurie enough for all they have done to help me along this new path. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
