He has been my dentist since 1971. I was 11, now 62. A wonderful dentist and a great person.

Doctor Hacking is a great dentist. He gets full marks. But, on my word, the dental hygienist named S. Gauthier is a stupid, prying, rat-faced B-I-T-C-H

Went to him as a kid and thought I would bring my kids to him. Big mistake. He terrified my five year old, yelled at him, my son was scared and Hacking clearly has very little ability with little kids. Even spoke baby talk to him on a previous visit. I went to another paediatric dentist and now a new one since my children are grown. Both dentists knew of him and he is known to have traumatized other young patients. Time for him to retire.

No stars for him. Terrible, creepy experience. Stay away!! In retrospect, there were many unusual aspects to the procedure I noted when he installed my crown. As was the incredible pain and pressure I felt once the freezing wore off. A crown should be a fairly benign experience!! My gut instinct was to look elsewhere for managing the pain and to find another dentist. Haven't looked back.

I have been going to Dr. Hacking since I was 7 years old and now my 3 daughters are seeing him. He has always been very knowledgeable and is very good with not having you spend money that is not necessary. He is very thorough and extremely gentle when it comes to extractions and root canals. It will be a shame when he retires from his practice

Dr. Hacking is a fantastic dentist. I've been seeing him for over 30 years and he has been truly amazing. Further, his staff are amazing....so caring and friendly.

Excellent work by the master himself and his assistant...The staff at the front desk who handle his patients are weak and have cost me a few times in the last few years ( both pain wise and $$$ wise)...Things ran much more smoothly when Dr. Hacking was on his own....Love the work he does but his support staff is decayed in a way...Pardon the pun....

I was with Dr. Hacking for 2 years. In those two years I only went in for cleaning. The last time I went he told me he needed to re-do two fillings. One he said was cracked and the other he thought there was decay under it. He did the first one. It was not decay so he filled it back up. Charged me for it - fine. I had to go back 4 times for that one tooth because it was now hurting every time I ate cold or hot food. Eventually he gave up and told me I would have to live with the pain until it went away. This was 1 year ago....I still have pain in that tooth.
The second tooth - the one with the cavity that had a crack - he did. He dug so deep that I ended up going back and having to get a root canal done because he screwed up. I got charged for all of this. Then when he did do the root canal he put so much pressure on my tooth that to this day it still moves like it's going to fall out if I floss the wrong way. This guy is useless. Its fine to go in for a cleaning but now I know why he didn't push for work to be done on teeth.... He doesn't know what he's doing! After 13 visits back to him I'm now stuck with lots of money out of my own pocket (because insurance only covers so much) plus the parking money plus two teeth that now have problems.

I preferred it when Dr. Hacking ran a solo practice. But, he still remains a top-notch dentist and a lovely man.
