My daughter had gone to Dr. Leland since she was born. He requires at least one visit a year. That is easily done when they are young, however, now that she is 14, it's harder to do. The hours he is open do not accommodate visits unless she is pulled out of school. Once she missed 3 well visits in her 14 years of life, he refused to see her. I made an appointment on a Tues because she was sick. On the way to the appointment Wed morning, I received a call from the office saying he couldn't see her because she was no longer a patient. After the 3rd reminder postcard about the well visits, you are no longer a patient. He refused to talk to me since she was no longer a patient. This is the doctor that had seen her since birth! You would think that he would have developed a relationship with patents enough to not kick them off his service if they aren't sick or come in for a well visit! I guess not. DO NOT go to this doctor. I thought he cared about my daughter, now it's clear he does not.

Dr. Leland is a great pediatrician. I trust him fully with my children's health, listen to his advice and recomendations and appreciate the way he handles his patients and the parents of his patients. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Leland takes care of my 2 children, my 2 nieces and my 16 year old brother. He is kind, courteous, helpful, caring, etc. My nieces are twins and one has seen specialist her whole life. He has always been 100% supportive and has never made my sister feel as if she was being overly concerned. He is helpful and nice even when you call him at midnight. Dr Leland always has time to answer any questions I had being a new parent and always makes me feel like every question I ask is the most important question he's heard. He is old school, but it works! I would definitely recommend Dr Leland!!

I have taken my seven month old Daughter to Dr. Leland since she was born and I have never been satisfied with service from him. First of all he spends 5 min max in the exam room and barely answers any questions that I have concerning her. I decided to change pediatricians for her when he became adamant about not addressing my concern about her not being on a certain formula. Normally, I wouldn't take the time to write a bad review unless I was certainly unhappy, but in this case I am. He never had my daughters best interest in mind and I hope noone else has to go through the same thing I did.

He was at the hospital very soon after our daughter was born he has helped us first time parents so much he is very caring a little old school but that is what makes him great

My children could of died because of his lack of caring and his lack of testing. I can understand not being over reactive about something, but he also was not proactive. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr Leland has cared for my four daughters since birth. Conscientious, intelligent, and caring only begin to describe our experiences. I highly recommend Dr Leland for quality care!

Dr. Leland is the best!! He has taken care of both of my children since they were born. When my first child had a serious illness he not only took the time to get us where we needed to be but he also called us at home to check up on us. Dr. Leland is VERY oldschool...no pager, one nursen no fancy frills at his office! He is all business until it comes time to make the kids comfortable. If you need him after hours you call him at home. He always makes us feel as if we are his only patients.

Very intelligent and is connected to a network of fantastic specialists. My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Leland since birth (14 years). In that time, he has caught two conditions that any other doctor would have missed - that's according to the specialists who then treated her. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Leland.
