My son was diagnosed with a tumor in his humorous back in January of 2015. After multiple visits with Tucson Orthopedic, we were told they couldn't do much for him we were then referred to Dr. Seidel in Scottsdale. Our first visit with him was very warming he explained exactly what my son had, and what his procedure would consist of. He had bone graft surgery in April. We then continued to see Dr. Seidel every 6 wks for 4 months, Then every 3 months. Last month we were told his tumor returned, In which, for me, as his mother that didn't settle well with me. The kind of tumor my son has is common in kids, but the acceptance is difficult for him as a child 13 yrs old. He has more pain than usual, we were told that is normal. Dr.Seidel's staff have been so comforting, and have responded to my calls quickly. Dr. Seidel bedside manners are extremely comforting, his knowledge is excellent. I travel from Douglas Az in order for my son to see a professional, and caring Doctor. I can only thank him for his kindness and patience he has. There are so many questions I ask his nurse and she responds quickly. I would recommend him to anyone seeking ortho/ oncology. Thank you

I traveled 1,800 miles and relocated for seven months for treatment of a large malignant sarcoma, with absolutely no regrets. Dr. Seidel is extremely compassionate and takes time to answer unasked questions. Having cancer is a frightening experience, but the journey through radiation, surgery, and therapy was made much easier by this amazing doctor and staff. Thank you!

I wish there was an option for negative stars because I feel one is TOO HIGH! Dr.Seidel scheduled an apt for a "small biopsy" in my fathers knee and ended up removing a large mass he said was neccessary with out consulting us before. He then perscribed a pain medication we specifically told him he was allergic to. My father went without ANY pain medication, after a surgery he didn't approve, while in excrutiating pain. His PA "Lauren" desperately LACKS "bedside manner" or basic medical knowledge. She said, "if he is in THAT much pain, give him 3-5 of the pills we gave him and if he is "really" allergic or has a reaction, he can go the emergency" - I am beside myself!! His knee looks like it was mangled by a tiger. I am wondering if we went to a hospital or a chop shop. I checked to make sure his kidneys were still intact & not on the black market! Ultimately PLEASE seek care elsewhere unless you want permanent damage!!

I saw Dr. Seidel for emergency surgery after severely breaking my leg, ankle, and chipped a bone in my foot. He was called in to surgery on a Sunday evening and had me in the OR within an hour. I had a rod and 5 screws placed and couldn't have asked for better care! I have worked in the medical field for 12 years and was familiar with he and the office, but they really were better than I had heard! He is amazing and took excellent care of me! Thank- you Dr Seidel!!! He was excellent as was the office staff. He was polite, took time to answer all my questions, and has great bed side manner! Would reccomend him to everyone!

Dr. Seidel is a fantastic surgeon. I had a massive benign tumor removed from my right shoulder in October. As a hairstylist I was very concerned about my ability to continue doing my job. I was back in action 3 weeks after surgery. I felt compelled to review some positive feedback since typically it's seems reviews are negative. Dr. Seidel and his staff are very professional and compassionate. Just to add a side note.. I now have another smaller mass on my left scapula and guess who will be doing that surgery. Thank you to Dr.Seidel and his wonderful staff for being so fantastic!

let me tell you about dr. sidell; hes not only a poor excuse for a dr.; hes not truthful.as a skier and hiker he told me he could make me like brand new with a partial knee replacement. he did the operation and it made my knee worst. he cut a tendon and 6 wks later he had to operate again to fix the tendon. 3 mos. later i could hardly walk. he then advised me that we should do a full knee replacement. he cut the bone crooked; and that put me into severe pain and i could hardly walk. 6 mos. later another dr. had to completly redo my knee. that was the 4th operation to correct sidells mistakes please run the other way.

Let me tell you, I was sooo nervous to go see Dr. Seidel after reading all of these horrible reviews. I went to my appointment, and he was humble, and very caring. He took his time to answer all of my questions, and went over in detail the process of my care. He walked into my room 1 minute after my appointment time, so no wait there. My biopsy was scheduled within 2 days. As a Psychology major, I know that people are far more likely to report negative experiences. So, here I am, posting a positive experience. If you are going to be a new patient with Dr. Seidel, go in with an open mind. He's not a bad Dr.
