I reported Dr Marni Brooks to the Maple support team before coming here to look at her reviews. How in the world is she still employed by Maple????? She said she could only renew one prescription per appointment. Since I needed 2 prescriptions she asked which one I wanted! She was condescending and uncaring and told me to see a doctor. I told her I live in rural B.C. and there are NO doctors! I had also requested a requisition for a mammogram since I have had breast cancer in the past. She said she can't give me one for safety reasons! I have been very discouraged and upset all afternoon while I try to figure out how to get medical help.

I would like to echo what every single person below wrote about this person. The oath that doctors take, she has violated every single one. How is she still practicing medicine with the disgusting behaviour she has?!

The Maple app needs to remove her altogether and her license needs to be revoked from how abrupt she is, accepting appointments without any consultation, just a simple “go to a clinic” with absolutely no explanation and when you ask for one, she does not respond and ends the consult.

I was left feeling disrespected, absolutely terrible about my health, with no resolution or next steps. From utter shock and disbelief I deleted my Maple account and subscription altogether. What an awful experience!

If I could give her 0 stars I would! I most definitely will be reporting her to the medical board and you should too!

Terrible doctor. Accepted my consult on maple only for her to tell me she can't help me and instead I should see a doctor in person. This is clearly a money grab as maple doctors are supposed to deny a request right from the start before we even connect if they can't help,

I feel astonished by how rude and careless this doctor is, to the point of being unprofessional and unethical. I’m still shocked by my interaction with this “doctor” but seeing the other reviews here it’s clear I’m not alone and this wasn’t just her having a bad day. She’s lucky there’s a shortage of doctors otherwise I doubt she’d still have her license. Despicable behaviour.

If I could rate Dr Brooks a zero I would. By far the worst maple app experience I have ever had. It infuriates me to think she was compensated for the appointment. She is condescending, does not listen, and abruptly ends the session without having to rectify or answer for her actions . I recommend anyone who has Dr Brooks on maple to decline her . If you’ve had a bad experience with her on maple I encourage you to report her to their customer service . I was able to and they were able to ensure I would not receive her again on the app. She should be fired. She doesn’t deserve to be compensated for such poor care and a poor attitude. She needs to leave the Maple app and perhaps practising medicine in general

I was paired with her on Maple and it was terrible experience. Mine was similar to below, told me prescriptions should be through doctors in person and when I am on a waitlist and the walk in clinic near me closed, she didn't care. Also reduced me to 1 month and said I wouldn't get another one through them. She shows zero comprehension of real issues of access to health care in rural Canada. I would love to see someone in person, but Maple exists for a reason.

Worst doctor to have ever come across on Maple. She threatened to leave the consultation and go somewhere else for medication! She should be removed from Maple immediately. She is rude to the core. Super unprofessional and would never recommend to anyone. It seems like my experience is so common with others! She has no concern for people with dire issues. Truly disgusting!

The worst experience I have ever had in Maple. Rude and I was only able to say “I don’t have a doctor” before she ended the chat. She did absolutely nothing for me but leave me in tears.
