Dr. Gawelko was quick to unfairly and inaccurately judge a situation in the first minute and did not offer evidence of care, concern, empathy, or any beside manner indicative of an effective healthcare provider. He did not seem to consider the best interest of his patient and was dismissive. Disappointing experience.

I had the exact same problem as earlier, he forgot to tell me to fast so results were inaccurate. Despite paying for 2 visits, refused to discuss problem with me over the phone. what a waste of my money to get one prescription refilled. Poor listening skills, no follow thru.

Beware! Gawelko had me take my annual blood test without telling me to fast. Some results requiring fasting were not accurate. Waste of time and money. Annual physical was worthless when I told him I had back pain. Never examined my back. Non - responsive when I needed a x-ray order from my physical therapist. Turns out I had a fracture T-9 vertebrae. I will find a new doctor.

Dr Gawelko is arrogant , rude, condesending. Thinks that his opinion is always right. Enters the room and the timer starts. Has poor listening skills.

Fails too listen to what you have too tell him. I completely agree, he does not care about his patients and more concerned with protecting himself.

He fails to listen. Does not work with patient. Doctor needs to realize people are all different and treat accordingly. Pushes his idea of the best medicines even when you tell him the meds won't work for you.

We really like Dr. Gawelko. He is caring, knowledgable and attentitive. Husband, daughter and I are all patients and are all pleased with him and his staff. They always work with us and our schedules. Refills are promptly filled, tests results are given right away. We've gone though many doctors since moving to AZ in 2007 and are finally satisfied!

This doctor does not listen well and fails to grasp the scope of a situation before prescribing meds. He prescribed me two meds that not only made me feel worse, they left lasting symptoms that took weeks to correct. I believe that if he listened more and worked on his bedside manner, he would be a more effective MD.
