Rude doctor. Pawned me off on fellow. No compassion. I have never been treated this inhumanely by a doctor. Other doctors with whom I've shred my experience have suggested I report her to the board for unethical treatment.

As if Mayo Clinic is not enough of a hassle to deal with, Dr Carey is the worst "expert" I have ever come in contact with. I saw her several times after my regular doctor suggested I speak with an expert, and it was a complete disaster. She was incredibly rude, nothing short of talking down to me. Both times I saw her she pawned me off to a "fellow", giving me the impression that she has no idea what she is talking about. Furthermore, the last time I saw her, she kept me waiting for over 45 minutes then blatantly yelled at me for admitting that I did have a glass of wine at my daughter's wedding. I spoke with a nurse on my out, who admitted that Dr Carey has gained a reputation at Mayo for pawning her patients off on students and fellows and that she has offended several patients with her temper, often making them cry too.
