I had Dr. Schneider as a child/teen and I have nothing but amazing things to say about him. Not only is he as knowledgable as you could possible want in a doctor, he is so compationate and warm and caring. I one point during my years at Sick Kids I became very ill and it looked as though there was a possiblilty I might "check out". Dr. S stayed late into the night one of my worst nights, staying to talk my mom through everything. He even took time out to care for every aspect of my health, not just the Rhuem. part. He even somehow managed to make dealing with the fact my condition was undiagnosable, ok even. On a less serious note, dads watch your wives. This man is not the steriotypical "stud" but there is something about that South African accent, impossibly soft hands, and giant overflowing heart and brain that make him the most appealing man in the world.

Dr Schneider saved my son's life. My son has Systemic Idiopathic Arthritis. I trust Dr. Schneider with is life. He is knowledgeable and wonderful to deal with. I don't mind the extra wait for him as I know he is giving much required one to one time addressing concerns to others as he does for me in our appointments. I don't know where we would be today if it wasn't for him. He is caring and could tell that his heart hurt for me when he would see me cry, he explained things in a way I could understand as well as my son could understand. He is a wonderful man who truly wants to help. He believes and validates all concerns of the child and the parent. He is truly a good doctor and a good person.

We were affiliated with the Rheumetology Dept. of Sick Kids for approx. 9 years and Dr. Schneider and his team became like family. He is caring, knowledgeable, always willing to give his time and goes beyond what is required. We could not have got through without him. Transitioning to an adult hospital and Rheumatologist was difficult, but as they were referred to us by Dr. Schneider, we had all the faith in the world. Thank you Dr. Schneider for everything.

Dr. Schneider is an amazing person. He remembers little things about the child and never makes you feel rushed. Has always answered every question and is always available to speak to on the phone with a concern. Ever speak to your family MD on phone?

Pediatric Rheumatology. Very knowledgeable, very helpful, takes the time to explain everyone and answer any questions. Very caring, excellent manner with children and parents alike. Excellent doctor, with an excellent team supporting him.
