I did not feel helped by doctor Brock, she gave us the runaround and generally was unhelpful.

I have been a patient of Dr.Brock’s since Dec 2016. Prior to being refered to her I had seen many other professionals and tried many treatments over a year and nothing was helping. I was referred to her to try neurotherapy. After just 2 treatments I felt imporovement! It was the glimmer of hope that I desperately needed. Without exaggeration I owe her, and her team that work with her, my life. I thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ I feel truly blessed to have been referred to this amazing doctor. She is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. Absolutely amazing doctor!

In my experience Dr. Brock is a knowledgeable, compassionate, patient and caring psychologist. Her office also provides neuro therapy services which have really helped me with some of my PTSD symptoms. The office staff have always been welcoming and warm.

My experience with Dr Brock was not at all what I expected after these reviews so I thought I should add my experience. After waiting to get in to see Dr Brock and the initial 2 appointments I was very hopeful. I felt connected well with her. The office had good parking and a good atmosphere, she was willing to do phone appointments for times I was too unwell to make it in to see her in person, and if needed I could communicate with her office via email. However, I was not informed that I would never be able to do weekly appointments with her even though she continued to take on new clients and when I went on a 2 week trip any appointment that had been scheduled during(which I could have done by phone) and after the trip was given away by her receptionist. Due to what I have been informed was a miscommunication the receptionist also stopped booking me going forward blaming Dr Brock's busy schedule. This was a lie. When my OT called she was told that Dr Brock was waiting on consultations with my previous very busy psychologist in a different time zone, my very busy veteran's affairs case manager, and my fairly busy OT. Dr Brock later told me that this was because of an offhand comment to her receptionist about wanting to talk to my previous psychologist that the receptionist took as Dr Brock not wanting to book me and for some reason the receptionist decided that I should not be told the actual reason why I was not being booked. This makes no sense to me. Dr Brock took responsibility for the offhand comment but refused to tell me that I would not have my appointments blocked in the future or if I did that I would be told why and be given a chance to advocate for myself.

If you have any trust issues when it comes to medical providers (or their receptionists), want to be a part of your own treatment team and kept in the loop, want a psychologist that not only takes responsibility but also works to correct her own mistakes, or need weekly regular appointments I advise against Dr Brock. But if you are ok with all of that, when you can actually get in to see her she seems to be a well versed relateable psychologist with many different approaches. Her office is bright and open.

I highly recommend anyone who has experienced a traumatic event to see Dr. Brock. She is very skilled and trained with trauma and able to provide you the necessary and practical skills to reclaim your life. Dr. Brock is very empathic and has a high level of emotional and social intelligence. She understands military culture and is knowledgeable with veterans affairs. I have found that she has been able to help me a lot and I only wish I would have found her sooner.

I saw Dr. Brock on several occasions for individual as well as couples counselling with my spouse. I felt she was fairly one sided and I felt blamed for the problems in our marriage. I felt not just challenged but judged as well. While she had great insight into my condition she provided very few concrete tasks to work on towards regaining health. Overall I was disappointed in her therapeutic approach (not her skills)and did eventually seen therapy elsewhere
