Dr Tunks was my doctor for at least 15 years, he has always been caring , answered questions gave solutions, helped me greatly to get better. I must say I listened and did as he asked with amazing results .

Dr Tunks understands what pain is and the effects it has on your ability to carry on regular activity,how it drains your body of energy just coping with it,and the emotional effects on yourself and family.
He is not a chummy,smiling,in your face,doctor so if you’re looking for a soft shoulder to cry on then don’t see him .He is extremely kind ,caring and his goal is to rid you of pain
.He is extremely intelligent and manages complex pain conditions that other doctors cannot help.
He saved my life after a catastrophic accident and pain in my leg from fracture,shredded tendons,nerve damage and CRSP
I am now pain free thanks to his continued care and trying new medications that helped me .
I am totally grateful that I was referred to him
He gave me my life back out of the horrible pain
He is a wonderful pain specialist

Amazing doctor can be a bit aggressive at times.. But he try’s to accommodate your needs.

I’ve seen numerous positive reviews and a couple of negative reviews and while I can see both sides, unfortunately I’d have to say I fall into the latter category as well. While extremely knowledgeable, I find him to be somewhat detached. If only he was made to experience what some of his patients experience, he might take a different attitude. Would be extremely curious to see how he would deal with exact same experiences as myself for just one month.

He has no concept of how pain affects a person and doesn't understand what you're capable of even when you tell him. He has completely unrealistic expectations. He wouldn't recognize a serious case of fibromyalgia if it bit him in the butt. People like him are why so many people don't get the help they need. So much for a "specialist"...what a joke. Thanks for making me feel even more helpless.

I Just took my mom to Dr. Tunks. he is a wizard. She has suffered with pain her whole life and terrible ringing in the ear. He has helped her pain tremendously in just the first visit. I have given his name to several people to help with their pain. He so knowledgeable and kind and experienced. I am grateful to have him in her care.

Dr. Tunks has had me under his care for 20+ years following a construction accident. He gave me my life back and continues to motivate me to carry on. I have embarked on a successful new career and enjoy life on a level I have never dreamed of. He has shown compassion and respect for me and in turn I believe him to be one of the most important people to influence my life.

I was a patient of dr tunks for 15years. I have never met a harder working dr in my life. I would have been dead long ago, if it weren't for dr tunks. He treated me for chronic pain and did a great job, I will be forever grateful for his service to me! THANK YOU DR TUNKS!!

Dr Tunks is amazing, his indepth knowledge is truly remarkable. Under his care my chronic severe hip and back pain is completely resolved!
Not only has he worked miracles with me, but with several of my friends who I suggested that their family doctors refer them to Dr. Tunks.
Our quality of life has dramatically improved, and many of us no longer need any medication!
Dr. Tunks has dedicated his life to understanding and resolving pain, he is to be commended for his passion of helping others.
