Dr Keith lummack was an amazing doctor. He encouraged Healthy living and would try to find ways to cure his patients first without strong medication rather than push u out the door with whatever. To the person below who said he had mental health issues and was scatter brained.. what a ignorant thing to say..the man practiced medicine lived his whole life ,lost his wife worked past the age he could have and really cared. He had more talent in his pinky finger and did more good than a close minded person like u will ever have in ur life.

Dr. Lummack was my doctor for over 30 years and was always happy to see me and asked about my life and my family and more importantly was concerned about my overall being! He was thorough and offered advice and if required prescribed what was needed to keep me healthy! I was sorry to see him retire but also happy that he could enjoy retirement!

My father was a patient of Dr. Lummack’s. Unfortunately, my father passed many years ago due to alcoholism. I was able to have Dr. Lummack speak to me about the autopsy. During the meeting Dr. Lummack admitted that he was well aware of my father’s alcoholism. Why then would you prescribe him over 100 Tylenol 3’s among other medication that he at one time overdosed on? He did not have an answer that would satisfy any reasonable person. This was my one and only experience with this Dr. but I can wholly believe all of the negative comments and good riddance.

I truly believe that Dr. Lummack had a mental disorder. He was such a scatter brain it was hard to even know what you just discussed with him after a 5 minute conversation. He was also a religious nut job. Thankfully he retired and we moved on to a new care provider who is excellent. I still have nightmares about Dr. Lummack pushing necessary prescriptions on me.

Sadly Dr. Lummack retired in 2013, but his successor Dr. S Michael is an excellent replacement. Dr. Lummack is definitely missed as he was excellent in interpersonal skills with his patients and did everything he could to help in any way possible.

I worked for Dr. Lummack many years ago. I wholeheartedly agree with every negative comment made here. His daughter worked in the office and she would put paperwork away that was incomplete and it would wait months in some cases before it would be taken care of. It would need one of the other staff to come across it and complete it. This meant that patients would wait extended periods of time for tests or other consultations. The phones would ring and ring and ring without being answered. Even though it was not my job and I was very busy I would try and help out and answer the phone. The filing system was terrible. Files placed only under the last name. One day I had to find a file for a an emergency doctor who had the patient in the hospital. The last name was Smith! It took me so long to find the file because I had to go through all of the Smiths, the emergency doctor hung up on me! There where many times that I was embaresed the be part of his staff. I saw staff be rude many times, wait times averaged 2 hours and then people where generally given a prescription and rushed out of the door. He under paid me considerably but I needed a job and hoped that he would see my merits and increase the pay accordingly but no such luck. He told me many times that "these people are just like 6 year olds." So if you felt like he was treating you as a child you where correct. If you felt that he was up on current medical findings I can see how it would look that way. He would talk with a rep or go to seminars and that would be his treatment of choice even though an old treatment may have been appropriate he would always choose the new treatment. He really didn't seem to have any idea what he staff did. He would just go to any one of us and give us a job or ask a question. We would just pass it along to the person who handled that issue. All in all the office was a mess and confusion abound.

Went to see Dr.Michaels, Lummacks replacement. Dr is knowledgeable and seems nice, staff is the same as Lummack, uncaring, disorganzed. I was told they couldnt help me any further with my condition so i did my own research and found a clinic. i had to get a referral, waited for months only to find out the clinic got back to my dr's office months ago and they just hadnt bothered to get back to me to fix the problem so now i have to start the process over. when asked for an answer why all i got was excuses and then threatened with disconnected the call for daring to ask for an explanation. Fire your staff Doc, they will bring you down
