I've always had Dr. Lummack as my doctor, and have never had a bad moment with him, his nurses, or his reception staff. He nor them ever talked about religious beliefs nor a pill pusher. Also I don't understand the recent comments as of October he is no longer practicing, and his patients have been move to a new Doctor. So I don't understand how you would have been able to be treated by Dr. Lummack.

He used to be my family doctor and I am so glad I found a real doctor. He is unhelpful, judgemental and should not be a doctor. I have been trying to get my family away from him for years, but they are scared that they'll have a hard time finding a new doctor. He almost killed my Mum. He prescribed her blood pressure pills without even checking her blood pressure. She left his office under the impression that they were meant to raise her low blood pressure. He is irresponsible. I wouldn't trust him with a rock.

I was surprised to see the comments of negativity and about church? Dr Lummack delivered me and has been my doctor for over 40 years and I didn't even know he went to church. Always remember your doctor is only as good as you are honest about your habits and issues.

I became a patient of Dr Lummack after being treated for a DVT. I can't take birth control pills because it increased my risk for another, yet every time I went for an appointment and spoke with Dr Lummack I felt he hadn't addressed my concerns at all and instead was running through his own check list of questions. He tried to put me on birth control multiple times despite having my information in his system. Every appointment with him he asked me "What is your occupation?" and during my last appointment when I told him I was a student he told me I should be on birth control and use condoms because "people in those types of programs have loose morals and you don't want to get pregnant or an std." There are many other issues but i'm limited to 1000 characters. Long story short, Dr Lummacks' staff and the nurse practitioners were very helpful, but if I had an appointment with Dr Lummack I left feeling confused and disappointed. I am filing a complaint with the board of physicians.

Ihave been seeing Doctor Lummack for over 38 years he is a very caring doctor who has helped me in my most difficult times showing much compassion, i have had to stop working a couple of years ago due to a work injury to my back which has got worse over time where i could not even walk at times his treatment has got me back on track. his staff are outstanding not to mention Lisa who has helped me whenever i have needed help. we all know how difficult WSIB can be. Thank-you doctor Lummack for your upmost caring manner. for those who complain about wait times, show me a doctor who does not have that problem. Would recommend this doctor 100%. Roy Simmons

I can't complain much about Dr. Lummack as I only saw him maybe 2x in the 7 yrs i was there. I stayed because nurse practitioner Sherry Stephanoff (sp?) was AMAZING. But she has left, and so for my 1st appt since getting pregnant i had to see the nurse practitioner Laurie - who is AWFUL. She told me i didn't need pre-natal vitamins, (i had to explain to her what different vitamins were for), refused to test for pregnancy, refused to test my iron levels even tho i was previously anemic, and she didn't want to see me until i was in my second trimester because "i could very likely mis-carry before that point". The only thing she wanted to do was fill out government forms to track my pregnancy and try to push the amniocentesis test on me which i told her i didn't want. I was so upset at my treatment i cried. And when i called back to tell them how awful it was, the staff had no idea why i was upset, they insisted that was perfectly normal. I have left and will NEVER go back.

Dr. Lummack has been my doctor for several years, but I have only seen him twice. On my first visit he told me all the problems in my life could be solved by joining his church and tried to convert me. He did not take my health concerns seriuosly, and I was gravely ill. I was forced to go to walk-in clinics after that. Finally another doctor discovered I have a thyroid disease and I managed to get treatment. Had I continued seeing Dr. Lummack, I'd probably be in a coma or dead by now.
