When we were first introduced to MD evaluation sites 2 years ago, we intended to comment on several doctors, but as is so often the case, life kept getting in the way of our plans. Now, with the pandemic raging, we are taking the time to do so in order to express our deep gratitude and admiration, as every day, doctors and medical staff everywhere put themselves at risk to care for the sick.
We are sure that all of Dr. Lindblad’s patients experienced conflicting emotions simultaneously, when learning of his decision to retire from practice. On the one hand, we felt as if we were losing the best PCP imaginable, one whose medical knowledge was not only encyclopedic, but also generously shared. On the other hand, his decision also allowed his patients to express real joy that he was finally allowing himself to be less burdened by his patients’ cares. For contrary to the stereotype, Dr. Lindblad has always been empathetic and thoroughly involved with a patient as a whole being.
Just a couple of myriad examples. When my Mother was diagnosed with cancer, we planned on her coming out to be with us. I called Dr. Lindblad, who at that time had just been appointed President of a medical board. Knowing that his hands would be full, I asked him if he would recommend a PCP for her. He said, “No.” I was speechless. But he quickly said, “She’s mine.” Not much later, Dr. Lindblad helped in similar caring fashion in two separate instances, when he learned, we were concerned for my husband’s Mother and later, her Uncle. He asked for their reports and test results, and again he was there for us with advice and recommendations. I asked him then how he could devote so much time and energy to our relatives. He responded, “You worry about them, don’t you?” I responded that of course we do. And then he said, “Well, you’re my patients, and if you worry, it will affect your health.”

Dr.lindblad is very compassionate and has been very helpful to both myself and husband with some very serious health problems. I recommend him to my family and friends.

He is an excellent, compassionate doctor. I don't know why someone would write that about pills because he's the opposite. He will not write pain meds even if your in pain.
