I am writing on behalf of my Aunt for whom I am the Health Care Proxy. When I started to care for my aunt who is 86, mostly home bound and blind. I was appauled at the lack of help she got from Dr. Casal. During office visits she was rushed and made no effort to listien to my aunt who, despite her, disabilities is very very mentally sharp. During a few eisodes in the hospital, Dr Casal was very good at stopping by for 2 minutes or so and then promply sending a bill after she did nothing to help. When questioned about a few medical issues and aksed to help my aunt, her typical response was,"What do you want me to do?". This week we moved on to a new primary care Dr who appauled at our story. And who started by spending over 2 hours to get to know my aunt and lay out a plan to address her needs. This is something DR Casal would never do for us. Now we have gladly moved on. Hopefully others will not have such a bad experience.

Dr Casal is a very compassionate and encouraging doc. I have found her to be very supportive and she has definitely gone more than the extra mile for me. She can be firm about her advice for what she thinks you need to do medically. When she tells you to do something she expects you will do it. She is very thorough and will refer to an appropriate specialist when needed. She listens very carefully to what her patients are telling her. She is very efficient with her time, but she will always answer any questions you may have and never make you feel rushed. She will take what ever time is needed. She communicates easily and well with other docs who see her patients. She is an excellent coordinator of my extensive medical team. She is always prepared to see you and checks on all the tests you may have had since she saw you last. I have found if you're sick or need an urgent appointment she will have you fit in quickly. I have referred many people to her. All are very satisfied and happy.

I found Dr. Casal to be very thorough. She listens to your issue and will send you for followup tests if necessary.
