He was amazing I have a.s and now on cimzia injection every two weeks it's works untill two days before my next injection but I can walk with out falling on my face thanks to Dr silecky that's called goust legs you walk then you are down in a second with out warning face first so God bless Dr Walter silecky we love you

Dr Silecky is the best doctor I have ever had. He treats the whole patient and goes far beyond his field. He is thorough and kind. I wish him well in his retirement!

The negative reviews baffle me. I have found Dr. Silecky the extremely thorough. He is very empathetic to my pain and always tries to do his best to ensure my pain is as little as possible. Dr. Silecky diagnosed things no other Dr. has found that I have had issues with for years. When I developed psoriatic arthritis he diagnosed it immediately by noticing I was walking in pain for the first time. Because of my kidney issues he didn't play around with medication and went directly to one that worked even though he had to jump through hoops to get my insurance to cover it. I think sometimes people are unrealistic in what they think a Doctor can do for them,. Not all ailments are curable nor can they be made pain free. Dr. Silecky does his best for me and apologizes when he thinks it's not perfect even though he can't do anything else. I truly appreciate the compassion and talent of this man.

not happy with him. leaves physical exam to answer telephone. takes multiple phone calls during my appointment. Does not listen to me when I explain things. Favorite saying "not sure what is going on with you, but your numbers look good." or "I don't know what is going on with you, it isn't acting the way it should" Really think its time he retires.

Was seeing this doctor for over 15 years, not a good experience in the last few years, only ever wanted to throw more drugs at my symptoms instead of investigating and finding the root problem. He never ordered tests of any kind to understand what was going on. I have had RA (JRA) for the majority of my life, he never listed to anything I was saying about symptoms and/or causes of my flare ups, just kept saying to take more meds (that were not covered by my drug plan). Got a referral to another rheumatologist who is fantastic, she ordered tests and within weeks I was diagnosed with a vitamin D deficiency and torn miniscus, which would never have been detected under Dr. Silecky's care. 18 months after leaving Dr. Silecky I am on fewer drugs, am feeling much better and am being treated properly. It's also nice to have a doctor who at least listens and asks questions, unlike Dr. Silecky, who was always terrible at this and I often left his office almost in tears based on my frustration over his lack of willingness to listen or explore options.

Very helpful, only doctor I've ever had who apologized for being late....and it was only minutes, not hours!!! Informative, helpful and again apologetic when standard exam led to unexpected event. Suck a kind and knowledgeable man and his nurse is a sweetie. Glad I was sent to him.
